In line with this thought, I tried a body mist from the range of Yardley London a few weeks ago. My experience with Yardley London Mist Refreshing Body Spray

Packed in a sturdy cylindrical tin bottle with a cap on top enclosing a spray pump, the packaging of Yardley London Mist Refreshing Body Spray is quite impressive. It is leakage-free, sturdy, hygienic to use and easy to carry while travelling. On the whole, as far as packaging is concerned, it is definitely up to the mark.

The aroma of the Yardley London Mist Refreshing Body Spray is quite pleasant, in fact predominantly flowery as it claims to be. On the flip side, it has a very low staying power, less than 45 minutes. As a result, if you are pondering if you should be relying over it for longer duration, the answer is clearly in negation. Also, once sprayed on one’s body, if you happen to have dry skin like I do, by the time it’s half an hour, your skin will feel stretchy and uncomfortable as if all the moisture has been sucked out of your skin (it has alcohol after all).

The final nail in the coffin comes in the form of its ingredients’ list which has chemicals and only chemicals. From alcohol (which one should clearly strike off from one’s skin and hair care products’ list) to triclosan and fragrance (under the garb of which a number of chemicals are added), there is nothing laudable about the composition. I place a lot of emphasis on this aspect. As a result, neither will I use this Yardley London Mist Refreshing Body Spray again nor recommend to anyone.

In a nutshell, Yardley London Mist Refreshing Body Spray is pretty much a dud. Given its deleterious composition, it would be impolitic to place one’s bets on it in the long-run. As far as short-term usage is concerned, its staying power is too low to enter my good books.
