Now you can get them online on purplle and Nykaa. I recently purchased a few Wet n Wild products and this Wet n Wild MegaLast Lip Color Rose Bud is one of them. It is lovely rose pink shade and I love everything pink, well, almost everything. I have actually lost count how many pink lipsticks I own, but nevertheless, I love adding new ones to my existing collection. Wet n Wild has a great collection of lipsticks, both in liquid as well as bullet form. In fact, this MegaLast range consists lipsticks with different finishes, such as High-shine, Metallic, Matte, etc.

The Wet n Wild MegaLast Lip Color is available in more than 20 shades. Some of the shades are Think Pink, Bare It All, Just Peachy, Smokin’ Hot Pink, Wine Room, Mauve Outta Here, Red Velvet, Stoplight Red etc. I picked up the shade Rose Bud. Wet n Wild MegaLast Lip Color Rose Bud claims to be a 4-hour, long wearing lip color that leaves a semi-matte cream finish in one stroke. Moreover, it comes with hydrating ingredients, such as Hyaluronic Microspheres that provide extraordinary adhesion to lips, an exclusive polymer complex that offers cushion-like feel and texture, and natural marine plant extracts coenzyme Q10 as well as vitamins A and E help smooth lips. Wet n Wild MegaLast Lip Color Packaging
Wet n Wild MegaLast Lip Color Rose Bud has a simple packaging. It comes in a lipstick tube with black bottom and transparent lid. You can take a look at the shade through the clear lid. The shade name is mentioned at the bottom.
However, I have a major issue with the packaging. Since the lipstick bullet doesn’t go down completely, it often gets hit by the cap while putting it back, specially if you are in hurry.
This has happened to me several times, and you can clearly see how messy the cap has become now. But it shuts tightly, and makes the lipstick secure to carry while travelling.
Wet n Wild MegaLast Lip Color Appearance
Wet n Wild MegaLast Lip Color comes in a retractable bullet form. The top of the bullet is slightly slanted, The shade is a warm rosy pink, with a dusky undertone.
It is a gorgeous shade and a great one for daily wear. It is just my kind of nude lipstick. The formula has a mild smell, which feels little cheap and I don’t like it at all. But on the good side, it fades away soon.
My Experience with Wet n Wild MegaLast Lip Color Rose Bud
Wet n Wild MegaLast Lip Color Rose Bud glides smoothly on the lips without any tug or pull. The pigmentation is gorgeous. It gives full opaque lips in just a swipe, and not more than two swipes will be required for the perfect pout.
The shade Rose Bud looks very pretty, and it brightens my face instantly. It is like the perfect ‘my lips but better’ shade for me. It sets in to a semi matte finish, but still it feels little drying on the lips. Therefore, I would suggest you to apply a thin layer of lip balm underneath.
Wet n Wild MegaLast Lip Color stays on me for about 4-5 hours, if I don’t eat anything at all. Staying power becomes a little less if you have some snacks and drinks. And after a full meal, you will have to re-apply the lipstick.
The good thing about the lipstick that it wears off evenly leaving behind a lovely stain. The formula is not entirely transfer proof. It is a semi matte lipstick, and it does transfer a little, nothing crazy though.
Overall, Wet n Wild MegaLast Lip Color Rose Bud is good, affordable lipstick. The shade is dusky rose pink and it comes with great pigmentation. Staying power is not too low either. However, since it is more towards matte finish, a lip balm underneath will save the lips from dryness.
