Wet n Wild Color Icon Ombre Face Blush Review – Blush and highlighter are two such makeup item that can make or break your look. Too much of them and you will end up looking like a crown, while the right amount will add a beautiful warmth to your face. I am going to review the Wet n Wild Color Icon Ombre Face Blush here in this article, and this is a new purchase for me. I haven’t used too many Wet n Wild products, just used a mascara and couple of lipsticks before. It is a well known drugstore beauty brand, and I wanted to try out few more products from them. When it comes to blushes, Maybelline, Colorbar and L’Oreal ones are my favorite. Can this one make it to my favorites’ list? Find out below.

Wet n Wild Color Icon Ombre Blush Appearance
As already said, Wet n Wild Color Icon Ombre Blush is a range of ombre blush. My shade is The Princess Diaquiries, with yellow on top as well as peach towards the end. The product doesn’t bear any such fragrance. These blushes are shimmery and you will be able to see chunks of glitters on the blush.
My Experience with Wet n Wild Color Icon Ombre Face Blush
I am a big fan of peach blushes and that’s the main reason why I picked it up. The yellow shade on top is lighter while the peach shade at the end is slightly on dark side. The texture is really soft as well as very light. It blends nicely and evenly on the skin.
Though the shades look very fresh on the pan, but on the cheeks they are hardly visible. The pigmentation is really low. The glitters present on the blush gives a glow to the cheeks, with a hint of color. I think the best way to make this blush workable, is by applying it on top of a matte blush of similar shade.
The highlighter works fine for me, and adds an illuminating glow wherever I apply it. Both the blush and highlighter gives a very natural finish and work great for daily wear.
Coming to the staying power, Wet n Wild Color Icon Ombre Blush stays on me for about 5 hours, and after that the color looks faded away. I have dry skin, but this powdery formula doesn’t make my skin anymore dry and also it does not settle in to fine lines.
Overall, Wet n Wild Color Icon Ombre Face Blush is a good one for daily wear. The ombre blush is soft, smooth as well as lightweight, however pigmentation is on the lower side. Shimmery formula, adds a illumination glow to the skin. Works good as highlighter.
