West Coast Clearclin Acne Control Face Wash is a product of West Coast Pharmaceutical Works Limited. It is a Ahmedabad based company and known globally for their medicinal products. Of late, they have launched their skin care range and this face wash is a part of that range. The main ingredients of this face wash are tea tree oil and salicylic acid. Both tea tree oil and salicylic acid are known to treat acne and pimples effectively. I had never heard about this face wash before, but my uncontrollable desire to try out different skin care brands made me pick it up. My experience with West Coast Clearclin Acne Control Face Wash 

West Coast Clearclin Acne Control Face Wash comes in a white bottle with a white flip open cap. The flip open cap doesn’t open easily. Chances are pretty high that you might hurt your finger tip or your nails in attempt to open the cap. But the cap is not leakage proof at all. So it’s absolutely not safe to carry around. The bottle comes in a blue & white colored carton box.

The face wash looks just like water – colorless liquid. It has a mild medicinal smell which I don’t like at all. And as I said before, it is a liquid facewash.

The face wash has tea tree oil and salicylic acid in it. Tea tree oil is an excellent natural remedy to treat acne. Salicylic acid is a safe as well as effective treatment for acne and oily skin.

Coming to the application, West Coast Clearclin Acne Control Face Wash requires not more than 3-4 drops to wash the entire face. As per direction for use, the face wash should be taken on the palm and mixed with few drops of water before applying on the face. It creates nice foam upon applying.

It comes off easily leaving skin squeaky clean. It takes away all the dirt and oil from the skin. But the best part is that it doesn’t dry out skin. West Coast Clearclin Acne Control Face Wash also works on acne, but don’t expect any magic like you use it once and the pimple is gone. It does work on pimple with regular use. My breakouts are reduced to a nice extent. This face wash keeps my skin oil free for like 2-3 hours. This is a good face wash for normal and oily skin people, but extreme dry skin needs to follow up with moisturizer.

Since very little amount is required per wash, so a 60 ml bottle will last for almost 2 months. But be careful while pouring out the face wash on your hand, because it tends to leak.

Overall, West Coast Clearclin Acne Control Face Wash is a decent face wash for everyday use. It works on pimples with regular use and doesn’t dry out the skin at all. It keeps skin oil free for 2-3 hours. It’s a good choice for normal and oily skin, but not so good for extreme dry skin.
