Having read about the benefits of roses for skin care courtesy internet, I bought a packet of Etheric Rose Petal Powder so as to whip DIYs conveninetly at home and get that coveted rose-like sheen 🙂 Etheric Rose Petal Powder is made of natural dried petals of rose. Today, I will tell you about its uses – How to Use Etheric Rose Petal Powder for Skin. In a nutshell, I will let you know how it fared for me on all parameters.

Price of Etheric Rose Petal Powder : Rs.150/- for 100 g

Direction for use : Mix with the base ingredient to form a smooth paste. Apply evenly and wash off with cold water.

Color : light brown

Smell :A very mild and evanescent, almost hard-to-note fragrance. It is close to negligibel and that is how it should be. I have prepared rose petals powder at home and contrary to popular perception, they didn’t have any fragrance as opposed to the roses in full bloom.

My experience with Etheric Rose Petal Powder

Packed in a transparent plastic packet, Etheric Rose Petal Powder?is definitely spillage-free as it is sealed well. Hence, you can be assured that the product reaching you hasn’t been drawn out or tampered with during delivery. However, once opened, you have to necessarily transfer the contents to a clean and dry container else the powder may be infested or rendered susceptible to dirt and dust.

On account of packaging, it is fine though not good as you have to transfer the contents once opened thereby not making it travel-friendly.

The texture of Etheric Rose Petal Powder is fine and it is very easy to mix it with a base ingredient to whip up DIYs. Since it is made only out of naturally dried petals of rose flowers, you can be assured that it is 100% organic and pure.

For using as a face pack, I have segregated the base ingredient into 3 groups on the types of skin.

For normal skin, a tablespoon of Etheric rose petals powder can be mixed with sufficient quantity of water. It can be then applied on one’s face and neck. Let it dry for around 15-20 minutes and then wash off with cold water to reveal fresher, glowing and softer skin.

For oily skin, a tablespoon of Etheric rose petals powder can be mixed with sufficient quantity of yogurt. Mix it well and apply on you face and skin. Wash off with cold water after 15-20 minutes. You skin’s excess oil will be washed off.

For dry skin which is always in dire need of moisturization, mix a tablespoon of Etheric rose petals powder with sufficient quantity of malai (or milk cream; the layer which deposits on milk after being boiled). Mix them well and apply on your face and neck. Wash off after 15-20 minutes and get softer, hydrated and toned skin 🙂

I have followed this since my skin type is dry and the results have been truly commendable. Since Etheric Rose Petal Powder is truly natural, my prime concern of pumping chemicals into my skin is allayed 🙂
