But the lifestyle with which we live, it is difficult to look best all the time. My experience with The Nature’s Co Barley Volumising Hair Cleanser
What I love about the Natures products is its ingredients list. The Nature’s Co Barley Volumising Hair Cleanser has one main ingredient that is Barley extract. I was never aware of use of barley extract for hair before. And I guess, I would have never picked up this product too as barley in my hair cleanser would have been strange for me. But then since I received this product in my July Beautywish box, I tried it out. Shampoo and shower gels are two things I always keep experimenting about. And have two to three variants at a go. This cute little bottle is addition to this.
The packaging is just like any other shampoo tube packaging. It has a screw type packaging and is travel friendly. Since this is a small tube it can be carried while travelling. The size is perfect for short trips. One tube would last for 5-6 uses depending on the length of the hair. Since this is a unisex product, me and my husband both use this product.
It has mild fragrance and is runny in consistency. The shampoo is off white in color. It cleans hair well and does lather well. I expected it not to lather since this was vegan product. I used it directly on scalp and then washed my hair with warm water. This shampoo can be directly used on scalp as it does not have chemicals. The Nature’s Co Barley Volumising Hair Cleanser actually nourishes hair.
My hair did not smell of any shampoo after wash. The fragrance was lost with that of the conditioner. I also used this shampoo on my oiled hair but to my bad luck, the oil was not washed well. And I had to wash hair again the next day. So, The Nature’s Co Barley Volumising Hair Cleanser should be avoided for oiled hair. Since my hair is already bouncy and with volume, it just enhanced the look of my hair. I would not say it actually added volume to my hair. If I had flat hair, this would have been my option and choice.
I agree it is a chemical free shampoo, but even then I would not be buying the full size bottle as I feel this is not worth. I would rather spend on some other variant of Nature’s regular shampoo, as this shampoo is not suitable for my hair type.
Overall, I would say I would not buy The Nature’s Co Barley Volumising Hair Cleanser for two main reasons, one because this is a volumizing shampoo and I already have good volume to my hair. Secondly I feel it is very expensive. But, surely if you have flat hair and prefer chemical free shampoo, please go ahead and buy this shampoo.
