Those who follow my blog regularly know that I am a massive fan of Sugar Cosmetics. Its been couple of years since Sugar Cosmetics has been launched in India (its a German brand) and the beauty lovers are already going gaga over their products, be it their lipstick, kajal or nail paints! Sugar Cosmetics As Nude As It Gets SPF 15 Compact comes in total 3 shades – 01 Latte, 02 Cappuccino and 03 Macchiato. According to Sugar Cosmetics website, the 01 Latte shade is for light skin tone, 02 Cappuccino is for light-medium skin tone and 03 Macchiato is for medium skin tone. I had chosen the shade 02 Cappuccino for me and I am glad it matched perfectly with my wheatish skin tone. Sugar Cosmetics is on a roll these days with back to back new launches. They launched their liquid lipsticks and nail paint collection only a few days ago, and now these compacts are already available everywhere. • Step 1: Cleanse and moisturise your face. Using a face primer will help makeup stay on longer and give an even, smooth base.
• Step 2: Use a concealer on the areas that require coverage followed by a foundation to blend evenly.
• Step 3: Now take the SUGAR As Nude As It Gets SPF15 Compact in a shade that matches your skin tone and apply it all over the face with the sponge applicator. While using the sponge, ensure that you first dab the product and pat well onto the skin and then blend it evenly. This technique provides coverage and also makes the skin look flawless.

My experience with Sugar Cosmetics As Nude As It Gets SPF 15 Compact

Sugar Cosmetics As Nude As It Gets SPF 15 Compact has a beautiful, classy packaging. It comes in a matte black square case with an in built mirror and sponge applicator. Sugar Cosmetics is known for its wonderful packaging and this compact is no exception as well. It opens with an audible click, however you need to put some force to open it (not sure, if its the case with my compact only). There is an outer cardboard box which carries the product details. I really like the packaging, its classy, its sturdy and its travel friendly.

The shade that I have is 02 Cappuccino. It suits my wheatish complexion nicely. The texture is smooth and fine and the sponge applicator does a nice job by providing an smooth and even finish. Sugar Cosmetics As Nude As It Gets SPF 15 Compact doesn’t look patchy on the skin at all. The compact has decent pigmentation. The coverage is sheer-medium and it gives a nude finish to the skin.

Sugar Cosmetics As Nude As It Gets SPF 15 Compact is very lightweight, blends easily and mattifies the skin in just one swipe, but do not expect it to cover your blemishes or other spots as it is not a high coverage compact. You have to apply foundation, concealer and then you can use this compact to set your face or mattify your makeup. I have used Sugar Cosmetics As Nude As It Gets SPF 15 Compact few times and it normally stays on me 4-5 hours and gives a shine free look. But if you stay in humid weather condition, I think the staying power would be less. The compact comes with SPF 15 which is an added advantage in summer.

Overall, I liked the Sugar Cosmetics As Nude As It Gets SPF 15 Compact. It gives a fresh, matte look to the skin and keeps skin shine free for few hours. However, it is not a high coverage compact, so its not suitable to be worn on bare face unless you have flawless skin. It settles into nude finish, hence using it for setting the base or mattifying the face would be better.
