Sugar Cosmetics Matte As Hell Crayon Lipstick 07 Viola is one of them. So I picked up two shades from these 6 new lip crayons – 07 Viola and 08 Jackie Brown. I love neutral shades, be it for lipsticks or nail polishes, and I think this is the case with most of you. Furthermore, Mauve based nude shades are particularly my favorites, and this Sugar Cosmetics Matte As Hell Crayon Lipstick 07 Viola is exactly that. It is a mauve-nude shade and also my most favorite.

Out of the 6 new shades of Sugar Cosmetics Matte As Hell Crayon Lipsticks, there are 3 nude shades and 3 bold shades. 07 Viola, 09 Princess Peach and 11 Elle Woods are the nude ones, while 06 Coraline Jones, 08 Jackie Brown and 10 Cherry Darling are the bold shades. Sugar Cosmetics Matte As Hell Crayon Lipstick 07 Viola claims to be super long lasting and highly pigmented formula. Moreover, it has creamy consistency which sets into beautiful matte finish. Sugar Cosmetics Matte As Hell Crayon Lipstick 07 Viola has creamy texture and it also glides smoothly on the lips without any tugging or pulling. It has a very mild fragrance which will not bother the sensitive noses. Once you apply this Sugar Cosmetics Matte As Hell Crayon Lipstick 07 Viola, it feels creamy on the lips, but settles into clean matte finish within few minutes. Moreover, the formula is not flat matte, its velvety matte, and that’s why this lip crayon doesn’t dry out the lips.

The pigmentation, once again, is awesome. Only one swipe gives full opaque lips. The formula is buildable and you can increase the intensity of the shade. In fact, Sugar Cosmetics Matte As Hell Crayon Lipstick 07 Viola feels very lightweight on the lips. Despite being a nude shade, it perfectly hides the flaws and pigmentation of the lips, if any.

Talking about staying power, it stays on my lips for more than 6 hours without even a bit of smudging. It survives talking, eating and drinking throughout the day, however fades a little from the inner parts of the lips after a full meal. A light touch up is needed, and then you are ready to rock once again 🙂

Overall, I totally love this Sugar Cosmetics Matte As Hell Crayon Lipstick 07 Viola. The shade is my favorite, and not the shade, but the formula is amazing too. Its lightweight, velvety-matte formula and super long lasting with amazing pigmentation. A bit pricey, but totally worth it!
