There is about a quarter product always peeping out. To be frank, at first thought I presumed that the lipstick had a lot of product in it. Later realized that it was just a packaging strategy by some brainy person.

One needs to be always careful while replacing the cap without the tip touching the product and staining itself. There is always a fear of accidental damage to the product there by wasting it.
