Streax Ultralights Hair Color in Style 2 being an easy to use at home, complete hair highlighting set, one hardly needs an extra item to use the hair color. In a simple box comes packed a developer bottle and color powder which are to be mixed in the bowl provided. One must wear the gloves provided and apply the mix using the applicator as per instruction leaflet. The last step is the conditioner to lock in the color and four sachets of the same has been provided in the kit. The price quoted is nothing compared to one time visit at a salon.

It is best to start with non greasy hair, I had used shampoo a day before. As precaution it is better to do a patch test a day before, use the gloves provided throughout the process and never apply this on irritated scalp. To apply Streax Ultralights Hair Color in Style 2, one needs to mix one part of powder to three parts of developer. For highlights one needs to section hair and separate parts where one wants the highlights to show. Once the blue colored mixture is applied, it is better to wrap up the part with foil paper for the next 30 minutes.

After rinsing away the creamy mixture and conditioning hair, the results are definitely impressive. During the process I used the applicator whenever I wanted the color only on a small area and a brush when I wanted to spread the color. The shade did not come out golden rather it was light brown. On bleached hair it might be easy to get the former shade. I had used this Streax Ultralights Hair Color in Style 2 on colored hair which made the shade look more prominent. As seen in the picture, the shade was indeed vibrant as promised and people could easily notice it. The color survived for the next few months without causing any hair damage or dryness. Lastly, I used sulphate free cleansers instead of products tailored for colored treated hair which according to me preserved my hair color longer than usual.
