7. Steam Treatment with Sea Salt for Acne Control

How to do?

  • Take 2 cups of warm water and add 3-4 tbsp sea salt to that. Stir well and mix them together. Soak a clean washcloth in that solution and wring out the excess. Place the damp wash cloth over the face and leave it on for couple of minutes. This will allow the steam to open up the pores and let the sea salt penetrate deeply to cure the acne. Remove washcloth and again dip it in the sea salt water. Place it over the face and keep it on for 5 minutes. Finally remove the cloth and wash your face with plain water, followed by few cold water splashes to close the pores. Pat dry the skin and apply a moisturizer. Repeat once daily.
  • Alternatively, fill a medium sized container with water. Bring it to boil. Add 2-3 tbsp sea salt to the water and stir well. Remove from the heat.
