Apply coconut oil/olive oil/vitamin E oil all over your body including hands, feet, elbow, earlobes, behind the ears and between your fingers. The synthetic colors available in the market contain harmful chemicals. When you oil your body, it creates a protective barrier and prevent those chemicals to come in direct contact of your body. Doing this 30-45 minutes before stepping out makes it easy to wash off the colors. Follow it up with sunscreen.

If you don’t want to apply oil, choose an oily moisturizer or cold cream. Mix a heavy duty waterproof and gel based sunscreen with it and apply generously all over your body. Sunscreen is super important once you step out to play Holi. Follow this step 30 minutes before going out.
