Satveda Almond Saffron Moisturizer Review

Hi all 🙂 Today my post is Satveda Almond Saffron Moisturizer Review. Who doesn’t love healthy, hydrated and mositurized skin? One visit to the market and there you go. A number of lotions, creams, and serums promise you that satin soft, supple and radiant skin that the particular model/actress on the package of that cream flaunts. You become interested and?enquire about the product and the shopkeeper or salesperson start singing paeans in honor of that product as if that product were the one-stop solution to all skin problems. You become inquisitive and finally, someone around you praises that product and you pick up that product on someone’s recommendation.

Now regardless of whether the product works for you or not, one thing which we might have overlooked is the presence of chemicals in it. Yes, given the kind of lives we all are living these days, we cannot entirely negate the presence of chemicals in our cosmetics, food (yep, preservatives are added there too and more so, in ready-to-cook meals) and in every possible thing around us. Imagine what would be our body’s condition in the long run after ingesting so many chemicals! While we cannot solely remove all the chemicals, we can surely adopt nature-friendly and organic stuff which would actually nurture our skin without ripping it off its natural oils. Satveda Almond Saffron Moisturizer claims to be mainly herbal. Let’s see how it fared for me 🙂

My experience with Satveda Almond Saffron Moisturizer

Packed in a plastic bottle with a cap on top and an extra cap inset, Satveda Almond Saffron Moisturizer comes in a double-layer packaging. The cap is really sturdy. I have been using this daily for over two months and it has not loosened yet. Neither does it exhibit the tendency to do so in the near future. Hence, is travel-friendly and up to the mark in terms of packaging.

The texture is neither thick nor runny. It lies in between. It is light-weight and easily gets absorbed into your skin. In fact, a pea-sized amount is more than sufficient to massage your entire face and neck. I have dry skin while my mother has normal skin and it worked for both of us. Satveda Almond Saffron Moisturizer keeps my skin well moisturized for at least 2.5-3 hours during winters. Since it is light-weight, I find it convenient to use even during summers. Of course, the quantity I’ll use then would be even lesser than the pea-sized amount that I use at present because our skin is susceptible to sweating in summers which isn’t the case in winters.

I find it suitable for all skin types since it has worked tremendously well for both my mother (normal skin) and me (dry skin). In fact, even my father uses it now! It doesn’t give any sticky or oily feel once applied on skin. The aroma is also pleasant but not long-lasting. It’ll vanish into thin air within minutes of application. My skin with regular usage, feels nourished, hydrated and a bit radiant too. It could be because of the extracts of the natural ingredients added to this product or because my skin got used to it 🙂 Anyway, the radiance is not like the ‘fake’ LED-like fairness that you see in those imbecile ‘Fair & Lovely’ advertisements. It is a subtle glow 🙂

The only concern I have with this is that its complete ingredients’ list is not furnished. Only key ingredients are mentioned which is fishy. Since the expiry period is of 2 years and we know that most herbal products last fresh for only a few hours or at best, a few days, so it means there would have been some chemical pumped into this product too. Hence, it is not entirely herbal or organic but still, since it has suited my mother, father and my skin, I won’t delve much in to this.

On the whole, Satveda Almond Saffron Moisturizer is really effective in quenching your skin’s thirst for moisturization. It works well for all skin types but then you have to be careful with the quantity given your skin type too.
