Add to that, other skin villains- dust, pollution, grime and on top of that incessant sweating. All these villains conspire together to wreak havoc on our skin. Amongst all the skin types, I particularly emphasize with oily skin type the most since they already have over and above oil secretion and then, thanks to the incandescent heat, sweating too takes a toll on their skin, leaving them frazzled 🙂

So, why not treat our skin to a natural peel-off mask that not only draw out all the dirt and grime but also wipe off all the oil (excess, of course)! Even though I have dry skin, I zeroed in on Rishi Ratna Stay Away Oil Control Peel Off Mask one fine day to test its efficacy in wiping off excess oil. A friend of mine happens to have oily skin so, the crafty me asked her to be my guinea pig 😛 Having used by both of us now, today I will review the same. My experience with Rishi Ratna Stay Away Oil Control Peel Off Mask

Packed in a plastic pouch enclosed within a cardboard box, the packaging although is simple yet not impressive. I don’t gauge the packaging’s aesthetic value. To me, its illustrations do not matter. What matters is if the packaging ensures the products purity and overtime usability. Since this powder can be used at least two times, the provision of a zipper pouch would have been apt. Hence, on account of packaging, Rishi Ratna Stay Away Oil Control Peel Off Mask is underwhelming. There is room for improvement.

Rishi Ratna Stay Away Oil Control Peel Off Mask is finely powdered. It produces a very gentle and pleasant aroma when mixed with water. Mix it properly to form a consistent paste. And then, exhibit the dexterity of hands by applying it as quickly as you can because I have noted that its consistency changes to that of a custard within seconds. So, that calls for quickness, right? Your skin will experience a whiff of coolness once it is applied. Post 15 minutes, the peel off mask would come off without tugging or rubbing. Now comes the difference in what we (my friend and I) noted after it was removed.

Dry Skin : I have dry skin. After removing the peel-off mask, my skin was a little radiant and cleansed but unfortunately, it felt dry- not overly but somewhat. So, for me the experience wasn’t good. I can’t pin the blame on the product because I tried it despite knowing that my skin is dry and it is especially crafted for oil control which dry skin of course, does not suffer from. That’s not a drawback for me. If it isn’t meant for me and I try it with the full knowledge of the same, I can’t blame it for not working/being counter-productive for me!

Oily Skin : My friend, on the contrary has oily skin (not overly oily) and she was contented with the product. Besides having a tinge of radiance and smoothness, her skin didn’t carry that unnatural oily look. Of course, the oil reappeared after a few days but somewhere for a good 3-4 days her skin was bereft of excess oil. From her experience, I can speculate that it might suit oily skin type but not excessively oily skin.

Overall, Rishi Ratna Stay Away Oil Control Peel Off Mask wouldn’t make for a good bet by normal and dry skin types. It is good to go for oily skin but for excessively oily skin, I don’t think so that it would throw overwhelmingly positive results.
