Packed in a plastic packet in a cardboard container, Rishi Ratna Black Vanilla Deep Cleansing Peel Off Mask packaging entails room for improvement. Why? The product asserts that it is meant for a single use but I have used it thrice and not like a cheapskate. It lasts well for three uses (in some cases, it may last to up to four also but thats how efficiently you do so without compromising on its effectiveness). At least it will last for two uses without any iota of doubt so that means that one has to either transfer the contents into a clean container or let it in the plastic pack itself. If the first is done, then theres the hassle of transferring it. If the second is done, then there is a chance of contamination or spillage.

So, the packaging calls for improvement. I am not asking for a high-end container or something penny-pinching, but the provision of a zipper pouch would offset this problem 🙂

The powder is fine and grey. Once mixed with water and whipped properly, it forms a smooth paste and then, you have to apply it at as swiftly as possible because its consistency turns from semi-liquid to solid within seconds.

It didn’t dry out my dry skin but since everyone’s skin type varies, this point is subjective so, better keep your reliable body butters/lotions/moisturisers handy if you feel that your skin is overly dry 🙂 I feel it is apt for all skin types. Extremely dry skin should be cautious.
