Hello beauties… Today,I am here with Revlon Color stay Shadow Links Eye Shadow Periwinkle and Lilac Review. Periwinkle is more of a denim Blue color and Lilac belongs to Lavender family.I paired these two while shopping as I feel both of these complement each other quite well and are cool summery shades. Both the eye shadows have shimmers. So, I thought that would look nice in evening parties.
Check – Pink Ice 004 : Revlon Colorburst Lipgloss, Pink Ice
I have tried a few lip colors from Revlon earlier but never got to lay my hands on their eye shadows. So, I was not very sure if I was making a good choice or not. Price and quantity seemed quite reasonable so, I picked these two cute shades, anyways. Let us move on to the reviews and learn more about their performance.

My experience with Revlon Colorstay Shadow Links Eye Shadow in Periwinkle and Lilac
Revlon Colorstay Shadow Links Eye Shadow Periwinkle and Lilac come in a very basic plastic, see through packaging. These are very travel friendly. No brush or applicator is provided along, though. The lid closes tightly. You just have to be careful not to drop these.
Coming to the shades of these two eye shadows, first of all, both of these have lots of silver shimmers. Periwinkle happens to be a deep blue- Denim inspired color and Lilac is a light Lavender. The appear appear very deeply pigmented in the eye shadow pan but on skin, the pigmentation was quite a turn off for me at least in case of Periwinkle. Lilac still has an acceptable color pay off but still I cannot call it a color pay off. To get a noticeable shade on your lids, you need to build the color in multiple swipes.
The finish is matte but rather Chalky, if you do not apply a minimum of 3 to 4 swipes. So, If you plan on getting a dramatic color on your lids, ditch this one. The texture is smooth and fine and these eye shadows do not weigh down my eye lids. The lasting power is very average. It barely stays on for 3 hours or so on me. It comes off easily with regular makeup removers. I have not experienced any irritation in eyes or while using contact lenses.
Overall, I was expecting more from Revlon. The quantity is good given the price but I feel quality has been compromised upon
