Quick and Easy Diwali Makeup Tutorial – After a long time I am back again with a makeup tutorial, and this time its Diwali Makeup Tutorial. Diwali is almost here, and so, I thought of sharing this quick makeup tutorial for Diwali with you all. It’s a very practical makeup look for Diwali. And by practical, I meant quick makeup tutorial. We ladies become very busy during Diwali since we have to do most of the decorations, as well as have to welcome the guests and thus, we normally cannot afford much time to do makeup. But without makeup, any celebration remains incomplete. So, keeping all these in mind,I have come up with this quick and easy Diwali Makeup Tutorial that will transform your look in just 10-15 minutes. So, let’s check out all the steps of my Diwali Makeup Tutorial.

Quick and Easy Diwali Makeup Tutorial
First thing first, moisturization is the key to flawless makeup. Moisturization helps the makeup to stay on place for a long time. For my Diwali Makeup Tutorial, I have used Rustic Art Aloe Vera Gel to moisturize my face. It not only will moisturize my face, but will also act like a primer, giving me a perfect base for applying foundation and all. It feels very lightweight on the skin and doesn’t make my face oily after few hours.
After that, I have applied Flaunt DD cream. I got it in one of my monthly beauty subscription boxes. It has SPF 15 in it, which makes it ideal for daytime use. What I like most about this DD cream is that it has the ability to blur out the open pores, thus, giving you a smooth and perfect looking face.

Next comes foundation. And here in my Diwali Makeup Tutorial, I have used my all time favorite Loreal Paris Infallible 24h Foundation. I am in the shade 250 Radiant Sand. This is a very high coverage foundation, and you don’t even need any concealer (unless you have any hyper pigmentation or heavy dark circles). And, it doesn’t even look cakey at all. I totally love this foundation and it is just perfect for festive makeup. I have used one of my Forever 21 Triangle Makeup Sponges to blend the foundation.
The concealer that I have used for my makeup here is the one from NARS – NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in the shade ‘Cafe’. It is my current favorite concealer. The formula is quite creamy and it gives high coverage. I have already said that if you use the L’Oreal Infallible Foundation, you don’t have to apply any concealer. I applied my NARS concealer in order to highlight my under eye area, my nose bridge, chin and forehead. Blend, blend, blend and your base makeup is done!
Since I come from dry skin family, so I skipped using compact. You can certainly use compact if you have normal to oily skin.
Moving onto my eye makeup, first I filled up my eyebrows with a matte brown eyeshadow from Maybelline The Nudes Eyeshadow Palette. It makes my eyebrows look well groomed and the shade goes perfectly with Indian complexion. Neatly done and well-groomed eye brows make the eye makeup look even more appealing.

For my eye makeup here in this Diwali Makeup Tutorial, I have used Seasoul Dual Eyeshadow Palette – SS13. It’s a dual eye shadow palette with a brown and a khaki shade. To start with, I have applied the brown eye shadow as a base all over the eyelid and the crease. Then I applied the khaki shade on top of that on my eyelid. After that, I used a matte black eyeshadow on the outer corner of my eyelid and blended it gently with dab motion. On my lower lash line, I applied the same black eyeshadow with the help of my Sigma E30 brush.
Next I used my favorite Maybelline 24h Colossal Kajal on the lower lash line. I like to apply lots of kohl while doing any festive makeup, because, personally I think nothing looks more appealing than a gorgeous kohl-rimmed eyes. Then, I will dab some Bellapierre Cosmetics Gold Pigment on the middle of my eyelids.
For my upper lash line, I have used Sigma Standout Eyes Gel Eye Liner and with the help of Sigma E65 brush, I created a small, beautiful winged liner look. Finally, generous coats of Sugar Cosmetics Black With A Bang Lash Mob Limitless Mascara on both upper and lower lashes to complete my eye makeup.
Lets talk about the face makeup now. For this Diwali Makeup Tutorial, I have used my favourite Sigma Aura Powder Blush Cor-De-Rosa on my cheeks, and Freedom Pro Artist HD Highlighter on the high points of my face, like the cheekbones, forehead, nose bridge and the cupid bows.
I have used Blue Heaven’s liquid sindoor here. Finally, to tie this look beautifully, a perfect lipstick is required. And here I have applied one of my favorites from Sugar Cosmetics – Sugar Matte As Hell Crayon Lipstick Poison Ivy on my lips. Its a beautiful wine shade that looks best on such festive looks.
Accessorize your look just the way you want and look dazzling this Diwali 🙂
