It is a must have in every girl’s vanity kit. Beauty experts say that nothing boosts our confidence like a dash of red on the lips. And the best part of wearing red lips is that, you can afford to keep your face and eye makeup minimal, and still look glamorous. I do love my red lipsticks from Sugar, L’Oreal and Maybelline, however, this time I decided to try out purplle’s in house lipsticks, and purchased this Purplle Ultra HD Matte Liquid Red Lipstick.

Purplle Ultra HD Matte Liquid Lipsticks are available in various shades of red, pink, maroon, brown etc. My Purplle Ultra HD Matte Liquid Red Lipstick is in the shade of My First Date 4. Some of the other shades are called My First Coverup Story 1, My First Prom Night 2, My First Dare 3, My First Hug 5, My first Bae 9, etc. The names surely are catchy. These lipsticks are vegan and toxin free formula, and the key ingredient used here is Vitamin E. Vitamin E makes sure that our lips are conditioned while they don a gorgeous color. These are water resistant and promise to give full opaque lips in just a swipe and also, they don’t dry out the lips. Purplle Ultra HD Matte Liquid Lipstick Packaging

Purplle Ultra HD Matte Liquid Lipstick comes in a plastic tube. The top and bottom of the tube is black and the middle part has been kept transparent which helps in checking the shade of the lipstick. At the bottom, a sticker is stuck with the shade name and number printed on it.

There is an outer packaging as well, which is really secure and keeps the lipstick safe in transit. I totally liked the packaging of the lipstick, its secure and travel friendly.

Purplle Ultra HD Matte Liquid Lipstick is a red lipstick, and the shade is very pretty. It looks gorgeous on Indian skin tone. The texture is smooth and creamy and it doesn’t carry any smell, which is a good thing.

My Experience with Purplle Ultra HD Matte Liquid Red Lipstick

Purplle Ultra HD Matte Liquid Red Lipstick glides smoothly on the lips. It has leaf applicator, which helps in reaching every corner of the lips. The pigmentation is amazing, and you won’t require more than two swipes for full, opaque lips.

Since it is a matte lipstick, it does give a stretchy feel to the lips initially after application, but it goes away soon. I would suggest you to exfoliate the lips and apply a thin layer of lip balm to protect the lips from dryness and prevent accentuating the fine lines.

After the initial 5-6 minutes, Purplle Ultra HD Matte Liquid Lipstick sets in to soft, matte finish. It feels lightweight on the lips, and being a matte formula, the lipstick doesn’t move, once it is set. On me, the lipstick stays for more than 8 hours, and survived light snacks and drinks.

It was only after a full meal, that the lipstick faded away a bit from the center of the lips. Also, the lip color is not easy to remove, it requires a good, oil based makeup remover to take off the lipstick.

Overall, I liked this Purplle Ultra HD Matte Liquid Red Lipstick. The shade looks gorgeous on Indian skin tone. Pigmentation is great, and so is the staying power. The formula is water-resistant, transfer proof and smudge proof. Definitely worth a try!
