Printed Purple Dress with Statement Accessory Outfit

Hello people! Monsoon is here and I’m all set to enjoy the drizzles with style! My favourite pastimes have always been sitting beside the window with a book, listening to the pitter-patter of the raindrops with sips of hot coffee. What more could anyone ask for!!! Monsoon has a feel of its own. It is romantic, cosy and heart-warming all at the same time.

Today I am back with another OOTD post and I will be sharing my Printed Purple Dress with Statement Accessory Outfit. I wore this outfit to a coffee shop with my friend which was followed by an amazing shopping spree. Short dresses are synonyms to comfy style. From fashion runways to street styles, they have made a mark everywhere! And why not, when its casual, relaxed and uber chic. It gives you a laid back look without taking away the smart appeal. I wore this printed purple dress which is very funky and hence apt for the gloomy weather. The dress is straight cut and has pockets at the both sides. The quarter sleeves of the dress give it the required style.

Coming to accessories, I kept it minimal. I didn’t want to puzzle the look with my outfit’s cut and colour. So, I wore a statement earring that is fish shaped and has silver dazzles on it. I added a faux leather black belt around my waist so as to add dimension to my outfit. I skipped everything else as I wanted to keep the focus on my statement accessory. I also carried classic circular framed sunglasses. For footwear, I wore black peep toe wedges. I also put along a tiny black leather sling bag, which completed the overall look of the outfit.

For makeup, I choose to keep the look fresh for daylight. I went for a winged eyeliner look with purple lippies. I let my tresses at its natural best- wavy and happy 🙂
