Hi all 🙂 Another review coming your way – Pond’s White Beauty Daily Spotless Lightening Facial Foam Review. More than obsessing over fair skin, I have always wanted to get rid of those pesky blemishes and spots which mar ones semblance. Spots after all, depict ones insouciance over ones skin whereas obsession for fair skin shows ones shallow and slave-like thinking. I understand that the Britons ruled over us for more than a hundred years and hence, brainwashed us into believing that fair skin is superior. What is asinine and irksome is that over 67 years of Independence, we haven’t in any way gotten rid of this obsession which portrays our sense of inferiority to the hilt. It even enrages me when I see kids in fact, toddlers speak English all the time as if speaking in their mother tongue/regional language is meant for those who cannot speak English.

There are some skin care brands that need no introduction to an Indian. Ponds is one of them. Isn’t it? I would clarify that it aims to lighten your spots and not your skin so please do not proceed with the idea that this product will make you fair. Anyway, without further ado, lets jump now straightaway to?Pond’s White Beauty Daily Spotless Lightening Facial Foam Review.

My experience with Pond’s White Beauty Daily Spotless Lightening Facial Foam
Packed in a plastic tube with a cap at its end that needs to be rotated to open the cap, I find the packaging of Pond’s White Beauty Daily Spotless Lightening Facial Foam sturdy and travel-friendly. That said, I feel that there is ample scope of improvement. A simple flip-open cap would do away the need to rotate the cap time and again to release the facial foam. However, on the whole, the packaging is okay.
The fragrance of Pond’s White Beauty Daily Spotless Lightening Facial Foam, is almost, like I said before is unmistakably similar to that of a Fair & Lovely cream and the texture is creamy. Once mixed with water and smeared on ones face as well as neck, it spreads easily but post washing, my skin felt too dry and there were white patches indicating that it left no stone unturned in transforming me into a Witch of Snowhite and the Huntsman!! That is why, I won’t recommend it to those with dry and extremely dry skin. Even normal skin shouldnt rely on it because it saps moisture a lot which will spell trouble for them in the future. I think this product is especially crafted for oily and extremely oily skin as it can eliminate excess oil off their skin. It does brighten ones complexion temporarily but I had a bad taste in my mouth (not literally) after the first wash which is why I didn’t use it thereafter.
Thanks to its ability to absorb excess oil, I think Pond’s White Beauty Daily Spotless Lightening Facial Foam is specifically crafted for oily and extremely oily skin.

I’ve tried this face wash and it actually even dried out my oily skin.
So then, it is technically a debacle for all 😛
Heard that one of the Pond’s serum is doing wonders to skin….i thought it would be this one only
This was horrible for my dry skin, Pallavi. Sucked all the moisture 🙁
Oops it looks not so happening for combination to dry skin…definitely gonna skip this one 🙂
