Hello friends, Hope you all are doing great. I’m back with a chic outfit post straight from my friend’s birthday bash. The party was fabulous accompanied by lots of yummy delicacies, dance moments and endless girlie giggles. Anyways, I’m much into partying these days as birthdays of my friends are in a row! :). Have a look at my Polka Dot Dress with Gladiators Outfit.
Check – How to Style and Select Ethnic Dress
Coming to the outfit, I wore a polka dot dress. It is short, comfy and chic all at the same time. The dress has black polka dots over a white base. Though it is simple and straight, it has an instant cute appeal that fancied me the most when I picked it. Polka dots are hitting the trends and they seem to be ruling the fashion charts every season. They are a grab in all size and forms and I’m stocking a lot of this print be it in the form of dresses, tops, footwear or say accessories.
I accessorized the dress with a slim white faux leather belt so as to define my waistline. It also added to the smartness of the outfit. I wore a statement neckpiece that has black stones in different shapes and sizes attached to each other. And yes, it complimented with the black polka dots in my dress strikingly. I avoided any other accessory as I wanted the neckpiece to stand out.
For footwear, I wore my new gladiator flats that put together the whole look. I am and will always be obsessed with gladiators. I want to own them in every color, every style! Since I’m not much of a heels person, I find gladiators to be utterly stylish in terms of flats. My gladiators are off-white in color with a tie knot design at the front. The best part is they are very comfy to wear and are light on feet.
Makeup wise, I’m wearing natural beige foundation with a touch of loose powder. On my eyes, I’m wearing Lakme Absolute Forever Silk Black Eyeliner and Lakme Eyeconic Kajal. And on my lips I’m wearing Lakme 9 to 5 lip color- Pink Bureau.
For my tresses, I went for the natural waves in my hair.
Hope you like the look and enjoy the clicks.
Till then, stay cool and have a cheerful day ahead!
