This face wash contains activated charcoal, along with licorice extract, and extract of Opuntia ficus (prickly pear). The face wash is grey in color and has a semi thick, creamy consistency. It has a mild yet fresh herbal fragrance.

My Experience with Oshea Herbals Activated Charcoal Face Wash

This face wash requires about a pea sized amount for every wash. Due to its good consistency, the face wash spreads nicely on damp face. It doesn’t lather much, which indicates that the formula is gentle for our skin. Being someone from the dry skin family, a gentle yet deep cleansing face wash is perfect for me. Though it doesn’t foam a lot, but still cleanses the skin deeply, drawing out impurities from the skin pores.

I massage it on to my skin for a minute and then rinse off with plain water. After every wash, my skin feels thoroughly cleansed. It doesn’t dry out my skin at all. Most of the activated charcoal products are little drying on the skin, but good to see, this is a welcome change. It is mild in nature, and free from paraben, preservatives, mineral oils, etc, hence, can be used by dry and sensitive skin people as well. The face wash gives me soft and glowing skin. Due to the deep cleansing effect of activated charcoal, this face wash helps in getting brighter complexion.

Overall, Oshea Herbals Activated Charcoal Face Wash is definitely one of the best activated charcoal face washes that I have used so far. Free from harmful chemicals, this is a mild formula that doesn’t dry out the skin, and provides deep cleansing benefits. Highly recommended, even for dry and sensitive skin!
