Oriflame Pure Colour Pressed Powder Light Review
I have been using various pressed powders from different brands but still wanted one to keep in my bag for day-to-day touch-ups that can absorb sweat and oil. At the same time I wanted something which gives a sheer coverage so that the skin looks even yet natural. Oriflame Pure Colour Pressed Powder Light sounded good to me and I decided to give it a try. Powders are extremely important for any make up. They absorb the oils easily and give a clean mattified look. They work excellent in summer season when one does not want to use heavy makeup and prefer to keep their skin light and even toned. So check out my Oriflame Pure Colour Pressed Powder Light Review below.

My experience with Oriflame Pure Colour Pressed Powder Light
Oriflame Pure Colour Pressed Powder Light has a black carton packaging that is open on two ends. The round plastic packaging fits inside the carton box perfectly and does not allow the product to open or get spilled. The actual packaging of the powder is plastic round black colored box. The bottom side has the details of expiry date and price printed. The top cover has ‘Oriflame’ written on it and it also has a mirror inside. The top cover is completely removal and unfortunately it does not fit the lower bottom tray which contains the product tightly. This works as a big con for me because I need to be careful not to drop as the product inside may get easily broken. Hence I have retained the outer cardboard packaging to avoid this mishap. However one needs to retain the cover and be careful not to lose it.
Once opened Oriflame Pure Colour Pressed Powder Light contains a white soft applicator that can be used to swipe the product off the pan for application. The applicator is decent but gets stained over time as it is in white color. Since I prefer to use brushes I don’t use the applicator at all. The pressed powder as such has a mild powdery fragrance which does not annoy. The powder is light and gives a sheer coverage when applied. There is no fall off.
It was difficult to decide the color as I felt that that light color should not leave a white cast when applied. My skin tone is medium to fair and hence I picked up the light shade. The shade suits my complexion and gels with my skin tone well to give a neat finish. Oriflame Pure Colour Pressed Powder Light does not appear cakey on my skin and works decently to absorb sweat and oil. I use it often for touch-ups and have been quite satisfied with the product.
Overall, Oriflame Pure Colour Pressed Powder Light is a decent every day, affordable pressed powder with a built in mirror. The powder is mild and gives sheer coverage and is apt for everyday touch-ups.
