Organistick Lipstick – 08 Review

Hello girls! Back with Organistick Lipstick – 08 Review this time. I first came to know about these lipsticks from Instagram. Even before I learnt anything about the brand, the first thing that caught my eyes was their huge collection, so many colors!! Like most of you, I am a complete lipstick girl and I never leave my house without it on! Most of the lipsticks that we use contain lead and many other harmful ingredients like lake colors (artificial coloring agents that can cause skin irritations), Cadmium (can increase cancer cells), Carmine (can cause allergies), manganese, aluminium etc. On the other hand, Organistick Lipsticks are made of mostly natural and organic ingredients.

Organistick Lipstick - 08 Review

After kohl, lipstick is probably the most common beauty item. And what most of us ignore is that every time we eat or drink something with our lipstick on, we are also ingesting some of our lipstick. Therefore, its very important to check lipstick’s ingredient list. If we continue consume the chemicals present in our lipstick for a long period of time, it can affect our health. So organic lipsticks are always a better choice. Organistick Lipsticks contain natural ingredients like shea butter, jojoba oil, beeswax, carnauba wax, castor oil etc. The brand actually promises to be the ‘most natural lipstick you can ever get’. Let’s move on to my Organistick Lipstick – 08 Review to find out more about it.

My experience with Organistick Lipstick – 08

Organistick Lipstick – 08 comes packed in a black color cardboard box. The lipstick itself has traditional bullet case packaging. The bullet case is made of plastic and is silver in color. The lid is transparent and thus, helps in shade identification. Overall, a neat packaging and completely safe to carry it in the handbag.

Organistick Lipstick – 08 is a bright pink lipstick. It is a lovely color and instantly brightens up the entire face. I guess the color would suit medium to fair skin tone the most. I personally love the beautiful pink shade.

The lipstick is awesomely pigmented. Two swipes are enough for the actual color to show up, the color pay off is that good. If anyone is worried about their pigmented lips, then these lipsticks are great to hide the darkness of the lips. The formula is completely matte, minus any sheen. The staying power is pretty commendable. It stays put on my lips for 4-5 hours and it does survive meals and drinks. After that it starts to fade away leaving behind a lovely pink stain.

Now coming to its not-so-good sides. Since the lipstick contain jojoba oil, castor oil and shea butter, I expected the formula to be moisturizing. But actually it is a bit drying. However, with a moisturizing lip balm underneath, it doesn’t feel uncomfortable at all.

Overall, Organistick Lipstick – 08 is a pretty good lipstick. Super affordable, long lasting, awesome color pay off and best part is its natural ingredient list. Wish it was a bit more moisturizing though!!
