My experience with Nivea Smooth Sensation Moisturising Souffle

Having used quite a number of mosturizers in the past thanks to the avent of winters in Delhi and usually emerging dissatisfied with most of them, I casually picked Nivea Smooth Sensation Moisturising Souffle?up one day from a neighboring cosmetics store because the price wasn’t exorbitant to pinch my pocket.

Little did I know that it would surpass my expectations on most fronts. Coming to the packaging of Nivea Smooth Sensation Moisturising Souffle, it comes in tubs but this isn’t a drawback of the product since it is quite sturdy and travel-friendly. The cap hasn’t loosened till date in my case. Moreover, since this is not a lip balm so tub packaging cannot be deemed a limitation in a single glance. It may seem that it is prone to spillage but it isn’t. The cap is really sturdy. In terms of packaging, thus I would consider it up to the mark 🙂

The texture of Nivea Smooth Sensation Moisturising Souffle is so smooth like butter. You’d almost feel as if you are drenching, thereby nourishing your skin in butter (it contains shea butter by the way). It is light-weight, non-greasy and gets absorbed well in your skin if massaged properly. The fragrance is mild, pleasant and not at all irritating. However, it dissipates into the air within a few minutes.

The one quality which makes it a winner all the way for me is its incredible moisturising power. My skin is dry and Nivea Smooth Sensation Moisturising Souffle kept it well hydrated for about 4-4.5 hours that too in Delhi’s freezing winters. You would have gauged how great its moisturising ability would be when it comes to normal skin. And oily skin need not worry. It is really light-weight and won’t make your skin feel heavy unlike most moisturizers. It is a good bet for those with extremely dry skin too but of course, I think the moisturisation power would be slightly less in that case. However, it is still praiseworthy.

My only concern is that Nivea Smooth Sensation Moisturising Souffle?contains a little too many chemicals some of which aren’t recommended for skin care such as- parabens but barring that drawback, if we take all its characteristics into consideration, its pros overweigh its cons anyday 🙂
