 I have been using Lotus Herbals cocoa caress daily hand and body lotion and I was very happy with that. Recently I ran out of my lotion and when I went to get another one, I found it was out of stock in my local super market. While searching for a good alternative, I suddenly spotted this baby. Its ‘oil in lotion’ concept got me really excited. Nivea is an international skin & body care brand that offers consumers high quality & innovative skin care products. Nivea is a family favorite, I have used lots of Nivea products in the past and especially I am a big fan of their body lotions. So when I found their newly launched Nivea Oil in Lotion Cocoa Nourish, I could not help but try it out. Read on to know whether I loved it or not.

My experience with Nivea Oil in Lotion Cocoa Nourish

Nivea Oil in Lotion Cocoa Nourish comes in white colored bottle with navy blue pump style dispenser attached to it. I bought the 400ml variant which comes in a pump bottle, but it is also available in smaller bottles with flip open cap. The packaging is nice and totally leakage proof, so safe to carry.

The lotion is white in color. One of the best parts of this lotion is its smell. It has got an yummy smell of cocoa butter with a little hint of coconut..a fragrance to die for totally. Now talking about the consistency, the lotion has got creamy yet a little oily texture. It is really smooth and very light. Nivea Oil in Lotion Cocoa Nourish is enriched with the goodness of coconut oil and cocoa butter which provides deep moisturizing and nourishment to the skin. It also comes with Hydra IQ formula that reactivates skin’s own moisturizer to give all day long moisturization with just one use.

Nivea Oil in Lotion Cocoa Nourish spreads easily on the skin and you do not need a lot of amount. It also gets absorbed very fast without leaving any greasy feeling. Now comes the million dollar question..does it moisturize? I will say yes, a big yes. And not only does it moisturize, but it also provides long lasting nourishment. My personal experience says it nourishes the skin for at least 24 hours. In between, I do not feel the need to re-apply any lotion. My skin stays soft, supple and nicely moisturized. It almost made me forget that I ever had dry skin. It also provides a nice soft glow to the skin. Plus you can’t ignore its yummy smell.

This Nivea Oil in Lotion Cocoa Nourish acts like a magic on our skin. It spreads easily, gets absorbs fast and leaves with super moisturized skin for at least 24 hours..could not have asked anything more. Not only it moisturizes the skin like never before, but with regular use it has also improved the quality of my skin. I have almost forgotten that I ever had dry skin.

The only drawback I can think of is that it doesn’t contain SPF. Personally I prefer body lotions with SPF as its time saving. But Nivea Oil in Lotion Cocoa Nourish has treated my skin so well that I can easily overlook this flaw.

In a nutshell, Nivea Oil in Lotion Cocoa Nourish is another awesome body lotion from Nivea. Its lightweight creamy formula provides long lasting nourishment without making your skin feeling greasy. It is just what your dry/very dry skin needs in winter. I’m totally in love with it & would highly recommend it, it’s worth every penny.
