Hi Beauties 🙂 I am with Nivea Happy Time Body Lotion Review. How is the monsoons treating you all ? Finally its raining and we need to take care of our skin. We have to keep applying lotion every now and then so as to keep the skin moisturized. Rather than buying small bottle every time, I purchased this huge bottle hoping that I did not have to buy lotion again for the next 3 -4 months from the brand of Nivea.

Nivea is a global skin and body-Care’ German brand. Nivea offers lotions, lip care, creams, deo and face clean up range. Anushka Sharma is the brand ambassador for Nivea in India. Nivea is a household name and offers real good products. Nivea is successful in creating quite a lot of loyal customers since ages. So, let us see if it was a mistake purchasing a huge bottle from the Nivea brand for the first time.

My Experience With  Nivea Happy Time Body Lotion

I require a huge quantity of lotion since I use it before bed time and after bath. It is recommended to use lotion after bath immediately so that body moisture is retained. So, let us look at the packaging. It’s a huge white color plastic bottle with a pump dispenser which helps me with the sufficient quantity to be dispensed. The dispenser has also a lock system, when twisted towards right it does not dispense any amount of lotion, so chances of spillage are nil. This particular bottle is not travel friendly at all.

 The consistency of the lotion is medium thick and is not greasy at all. It gets easily absorbed by the skin. The skin feels fresh and young after applying this. The best part of this lotion is its smell. The fragrance is mild citrus and makes me feel refreshing and fresh. It is not annoying but mild and stays on the skin for quite a long time. It leaves my skin totally soft and smooth. This variant of lotion is suitable for normal skin types. I have dry skin and it suits me the best. I prefer wearing lotion whole round the year. It softens my skin and leaves suppleness all day long. It also claims of 24 hrs moisture.

I have started using this from June itself, but I feel even in summers it wont be heavy on skin. But the only con is it does not contain SPF. So, I would prefer wearing a sunscreen lotion rather than a plain body lotion in summers. As of now, I am in absolute love with this product, and I am glad I did not make a wrong choice by buying such a huge bottle.  I will finish it off before next summers begin;).

 Overall, I feel Nivea Body Lotion Happy Time is a very good lotion for winters and monsoons and leaves dry skin smooth, soft, supple and moisturized.  A strict no for summers as it does not contain SPF.
