Nivea Fruity Shine Peach Lip Balm Review

Hello Readers, I am going to review Nivea Fruity Shine Peach Lip Balm. Just like makeup lovers there are many who do not like layering their face with several shades that the palette has to offer. A lip balm and kajal is all that they flaunt every day. For such minimal look beauties, lip balms in various shades can kill the boredom. Pick something with hints of pink, red, orange and coral too. I like wearing this look when I am going for classes and thus among other shades I own a coral shade which was missing until I found this.

Nivea Fruity Shine Peach Lip Balm Review

Nivea Fruity Shine Peach Lip Balm is a dermatologically approved and skin compatible product. Being enriched with the innovative formula of Hydra IQ it delivers softness and long lasting hydration to the lips. A fruit flavored and soft color of peach is an added advantage. There are various flavors to try from Pink Guava, Watermelon, Cherry, Dragon fruit, Strawberry and Peach. Let’s get started with my Nivea Fruity Shine Peach Lip Balm Review.

My experience with Nivea Fruity Shine Peach Lip Balm

Nivea Fruity Shine Peach Lip Balm like other lip balms of the Fruity Shine Range comes in a lipstick kind of packaging. Also the shades of all the lip balms of this range closely resemble the color of the cap which works great while picking up a particular shade. There is a slight yummy peach fragrance added to it too but it tastes like nothing.

The shade looks coral with shimmers but it hardly shows up on the lips. On a good note, texture is something in between waxy and creamy. It glides on smoothly without any pulling or tugging of the lips. In summers it does not melt or get messed up so one can freely store in any manner and carry it around in pockets, purse etc. It kind of gives a glossy finish on the lips which vanishes away after sometime.

Talking of the hydration Nivea Fruity Shine Peach Lip Balm promises, unfortunately it does not live up to it. Chapped lips get back to being dry within sometime as the moisturization is not enough. It does not soften or heal lips which is very disappointing as other flavors like my favorite Pink Guava which works great in keeping lips soft and moisturized. Plus if this lip balm is swiped in several layers then it starts feeling heavy and irritating. Somehow this does not match the goodness of other lip balms under the same range, it can only be a pick provided one is crazy about coral and peaches.

Overall Nivea Fruity Shine Peach Lip Balm is a slight coral shade, peach flavored dermatologically tested lip balm which is not as good as other Fruity Shine lip balms owing its mild hydration. Better check out other variants from the Fruity Shine range.

  1. I don’t think it would cover pigmented lips. Would it Juthika? Plus Nivea’s lip balms as you rightly, mentioned have a consistency between wax and cream. This is what perturbs me. I feel as if I am scrubbing my lips 😛 Anyway, Nivea’s essential care lip balm is a good option. It doesn’t cover pigmentation but glides effortlessly and softens lips very well 🙂 The review is well-written 🙂 Waiting for some “look review” from you. You play with words really well in your look reviews 🙂

    • yes dear its color pay off is poor plus this variant is pathetic i dunno why as other fruity shine ones are like bestsellers. will try to do a look review soon 🙂 Thank you so much 🙂
