My experience with Nivea Cocoa Lip Butter

Since Nivea Cocoa Lip Butter?comes in a tub which even though looks eye-pleasing yet involves the hassle of being used by dipping one’s fingers, so it is unhygienic and at times, even leads to a bit of wastage. The cap is sturdy undoubtedly. In fact so sturdy that you’ll have to unleash your inner Wonder Woman to open it at times, but that makes it spillage-free. The ‘lack of hygiene’ factor overweighs its eye-pleasing appearance as well as sturdiness for me. However, it is a “lip butter” and not a “lip balm”, so we cannot pin the blame for the tub packaging on the producers. Taking all these into account, in terms of packaging, it is fine for me ๐Ÿ™‚

The texture of Nivea Cocoa Lip Butter is creamy and it does a commendable job at moisturizing. Its staying power is the best I have some across thus far. For my normal lips, it stayed for about 4 hours at a stretch. And it is so intensely moisturising that it can cure chapped, extremely dry and even lips bleeding out of dryness. It does not have any noticeable tint/colour when applied on lips so those looking at it as a saviour from pigmented lips wouldn’t find it satisfying that need of theirs but if hydration and getting soft, smooth and luscious lips is what you aim for (and what it claims to provide you), then add it to your shopping cart with abandon ๐Ÿ™‚ There is a subtle coffee-like color that stays temporarily on your lips but vanishes with time. That is why, I consider it primarily colorless.

The quantity is a good amount for the price so a single tub will last really long ๐Ÿ™‚ You can use it on your lips at night, hit the pillow and wake up to luscious lips. Who said miracles don’t happen overnight? ๐Ÿ™‚

With its excellent moisturization power, staying ability, intense softness, creamy texture, wonderful aroma and provision of sufficient quantity for the price, Nivea Cocoa Lip Butter is?a winner all the way.

Good about Nivea Cocoa Lip Butter

  • The amazing aroma. I am still salivating over it
  • Sturdy cap which makes it spillage-free
  • Intense moisturization
  • Long-lasting staying power
  • Ability to heal the driest of lips
  • More quantity for the price hence, long-lasting
  • Readily available
  • Reasonable pricing

Bad about Nivea Cocoa Lip Butter

  • Almost zero tint/colour. There’s a subtle coffee tint which disappers in no time so I deem it mainly tint-less.
  • Tub packaging makes it unhygienic as well as leads to a littel wastage every time you intend to use it.

Availability : Easy
