See, most of us have certain kind of priority when it comes to makeup. Some of us love experimenting with lip makeup, while some prefer to doll up their eyes. I fall in the second category. Well defined eyes enhances our facial attractiveness. I don’t always get time to do an elaborate eye makeup, but I never leave home without kajal and eyeliner. I always carry a kajal in my bag. A single stroke of jet black kajal is the easiest way to jazz up our look in a few seconds. And that’s why when I heard that Maybelline has launched the blacker and bolder version of their popular colossal kajal in the form of New Maybelline The Colossal Kajal Super Black, I couldn’t resist myself. My experience with New Maybelline The Colossal Kajal Super Black

Maybelline has swapped colors in the packaging of New Maybelline The Colossal Kajal Super Black. The older version used to be a yellow pencil with black accents over it, The new one is a black retractable pencil with yellow accents over it. It looks pretty attractive and can be slipped easily in the purse.

New Maybelline The Colossal Kajal Super Black is a jet black kajal. It is definitely more pigmented than the older version. It gives an intense finish as well. The kajal is quite smooth and creamy and hence, glides on easily. A single stroke is good enough for a well pigmented line.

Lets move on to the staying power now. It claims to stay for 16 hours, however New Maybelline The Colossal Kajal Super Black stays put on my waterline for like 5 hours. And for my lid, I got a wear time of almost 8 hours. However, those with oily lid might have to struggle a bit since the formula is quite creamy. Another good thing is that this new version of Maybelline Colossal kajal is completely smudgeproof. But I think the price is a little too much.

Overall, New Maybelline The Colossal Kajal Super Black is definitely better than the older version in terms of pigmentation and staying power. However the price is not justified as better products are available at half of this price tag.
