My January Favorite Makeup Look – We all have our favorite makeup look that we repeat over and over again. And I would love to share My January Favorite Makeup with you all here in this post. I personally think that the best thing about being a beauty blogger is to try and experiment with different makeup looks. Some of the combinations look better than others and thus become our favorite makeup look. Last month (January) I created this makeup look while swatching the newly launched Sugar Cosmetics Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipstick in one of my videos. And I fell in love with this look the moment I finished my makeup. I received loads of compliment for this look and it was something that I would love to create again and again. So lets check out My January Favorite Makeup Look step by step guide below.
My January Favorite Makeup Look
Lets start with base. I always start my makeup with a clean face. First I applied my moisturizer and then comes my base. For the base, I started with my all time favorite LOreal Paris True Match Concealer. It works best for me. The concealer nicely hides my under eye circles and blemishes and gives a very natural looking coverage. For my foundation, here I have chosen Geri G Innocent Foundation in ‘medium’ shade. It feels very light on the face. The finish is in between matte and dewy. I didn’t use any compact this time, but you guys can surely choose one.
Coming to my eye makeup, I have used my L’Oreal eye shadow palette. I picked up the brown shade from the palette to fill up my eye brows. On my eyelids, I applied a shimmery shade. Then on the inner corners of my eyes, I applied a light yellow shade to make my eyes look fresh and more awake.
I lined my eyelids using Lakme Satin Eye liner and finally finished off my eye makeup with generous coats of Sugar Cosmetics Black With A Bang Lash Mob Limitless Mascara on both my upper and lower lashes.
I never skip blush from my makeup routine. Blush gives a healthy glow and bounce to the face and make the makeup look fresh. Here I have used Maybelline Cheeky Glow Blush Creamy Cinnamon on my cheeks. This is one of my all time favorite blushes. It has a luminous effect. Next comes highlighter, which is again very important as it adds dimension to the face and make the face look polished. I have opted for the highlighter from my favorite L’Oreal Paris Lucent Magique Blush of Light Glow Palette Blushing Kiss palette while creating this makeup look.
On my lips you can see different shades of Sugar Cosmetics Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipstick – 02 Brink of Pink, 08 Wine and Shine, 04 Plum Yum and 05 Rust Lust.
