Those who follow my blog regularly, know that I love MUA eye shadows and blushers. They are super affordable, and you also won’t be disappointed with the quality. This MUA Pearl Eyeshadow in Shade 29 is a single eye shadow palette and the shade is an olive golden kind of shade. I didn’t have any such shade in my collection previously. MUA Pearl Eyeshadows are available in more than 30 stunning shades ranging from bright to neutral shades. However, I could find only four shades on Nykaa. These eye shadows also claim to have lovely pearl finish, hence the name ‘Pearl Eyeshadow’.

MUA Pearl Eyeshadow in Shade 29 comes in a round shaped pan with a transparent lid on top. The lid also lets you detect the shade of the eye shadow. The back of the pan has got the product information such as price, ingredients etc mentioned on it. I really love the packaging of this eye shadow palette. Its super cute and being tiny and lightweight, it can easily fit inside the purse for touch up on the go.

MUA Pearl Eyeshadow in Shade 29 is a beautiful olive golden shade, which is quite unique. I totally loved this shade and I think this would look good on fair to wheatish complexion. It is the perfect shade for parties or any evening function. The shade is quite different from the usual golden shade and also adds a pop of freshness to the eyes. One can easily combine this eyeshadow with other shades, like use this on the center of the eyelid for that reflective shimmery look. It even looks good when used alone on the eyelids.

My experience with MUA Pearl Eyeshadow in Shade 29

Talking about the texture of this eyeshadow, MUA Pearl Eyeshadow in Shade 29 has a powdery creamy texture. It has a lot of golden shimmer in it, hence it’s not very smooth. The eyeshadow applies easily on the eyelids and also gets blended evenly with fingertips or a brush. There is a bit of fall out, but it can be fixed by dusting that off using a fan brush. Once applied, the eyeshadow stays in place neatly.

MUA Pearl Eyeshadow in Shade 29 is sort of a ‘what you see is what you get’ type of eye shadow. Yes, you get the exact same color on the eyelids and that too without multiple swipes. You need only 1-2 swipes to get that olive-golden color on your eyelids. The shimmers are there, but they are very fine and also do not look OTT. The eyeshadow has a pearly kind of finish and the shimmers add a beautiful sheen to it.

MUA Pearl Eyeshadow in Shade 29 stays on me for 3-4 hours without any primer. However, it would fade a bit if you rub your eyes accidentally. But the color would still be there and reapplication is not needed until you want to touch up the entire makeup.

Overall, MUA Pearl Eyeshadow in Shade 29 is a beautiful olive-golden shimmery shade which is perfect for festive makeup. The texture is not too smooth, yet applies smoothly and also stays in place neatly. The pigmentation is really good and the staying power isn’t bad either. The pearly sheen kind of finish looks beautiful. Definitely recommended!
