Maybelline The 24K Nudes Eyeshadow Palette Review – Maybelline has recently brought their very popular Maybelline The 24K Nudes Eyeshadow Palette to India. I am a big fan of Maybelline’s Eyeshadow palettes. I n fact I have also used Maybelline The Nudes Eyeshadow Palette previously which I liked a lot. So, when this new Maybelline The 24K Nudes Eyeshadow Palette was launched, I wanted to get one for myself too. I actually bought this eyeshadow palette from Nykaa during the Rakhi sale in July. Furthermore, this eyeshadow palette comes with 12 stunning shades for custom eye makeup look. Just like other Maybelline eyeshadow palettes, this one also offers a variety of eyeshadow looks. You can create 13 different looks with duo, trio and quad color combinations.

When I first opened the eyeshadow palette, I was literally bowled over by the stunning shades inside. There are some deeper shades and also some light-toned highlighter shades. The brand also claims that all the shades of Maybelline The 24K Nudes Eyeshadow Palette are infused with metallic gold pigments. I love using neutral eyeshadows. Maybelline The 24K Nudes Eyeshadow Palette Packaging

The packaging is quite the same like the previous eyeshadow palettes. Maybelline The 24K Nudes Eyeshadow Palette comes in a sleek golden colored plastic case with a transparent lid. The clear plastic lid also let’s you see the shades inside which is a good thing. The eyeshadow palette doesn’t come with any in-built mirror, but it does have a double-sided sponge applicator. Also, the packaging looks classy and the lid closes securely, making it sturdy as well. Furthermore, the back of the palette includes suggestions for combining the shades and also create different eyeshadow looks.

Maybelline The 24K Nudes Eyeshadow Palette Appearance

Maybelline The 24K Nudes Eyeshadow Palette contains 12 shades inside which are divided into two rows. The shades are available in a mix of matte, satin and also shimmery finish. I really like the shade selection of this eye shadow palette. The deeper jewel-toned shades are particularly very beautiful. There is only one gold shade (top row) in the palette which is simply outstanding.

My experience with Maybelline The 24K Nudes Eyeshadow Palette

In fact, I really like the new Maybelline The 24K Nudes Eyeshadow Palette. There has been noticeable improvement in the formula from the previous palettes. The shades have soft, buttery texture, also none of them are dry or hard to pick. However, not all the shades are equally easy to work with. Some of the shades are silky smooth almost without any fallout issue, while few shades are quite powdery and tend to fall out a lot. The gold shade on the top row is simply the best out of all the 12 shades. Couple of matte shades on the top row (the grey and the light beige) are also quite impressive.

The bottom row mainly consists of darker shades like plum, shimmery black, blackish green, brown, charcoal grey etc. The shimmery shades aren’t overloaded with glitters, but have a nice metallic sheen to them. All the eye shadow shades blend pretty well and specially, the shimmery shades do not look patchy at all. Coming to the pigmentation, Maybelline The 24K Nudes Eyeshadow Palette’s shades are nicely pigmented. However, some of the lighter shades might not show up well, but a primer underneath can easily solve the issue.

Overall, Maybelline The 24K Nudes Eyeshadow Palette is a good palette for everyday looks. It contains a nice mix of shimmery, satiny and also matte finish eye shadows. The combination of darker shades and light highlighter shades also lets you create a variety of eye makeup using just one palette. Also, the buttery soft texture and good pigmentation definitely add to its appeal.
