Hi Friends today my post is about Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner Review. I am sucker for all the eyeliner products. My favorite look is the dramatic winged eye and cat eyes look…!! Sadly I cannot sport them every day…:P So I got this gel eyeliner for the basic purpose of getting that look. And I did not realize when I fell in love with it. It’s part of my regular eye makeup now. And I am already on my 2^ndpost..:D

My favorite is the MAC fluidlineblacktrack…but boy this one comes for half its price and you never use MAC for experimenting purposes. So thumbs up for Maybelline.

Feel of Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner

This gel eyeliner from Maybelline comes in 4 colors: Blackest black, charcoal, brown and eggplant. I saw eggplant at a store once and I really don’t remember why I did not buy it. I regret it till date…!!Except black the rest 3 shades are not easily available in India.

So if you are new to gel eyeliners and want to give it a try this one is for you. It comes in a tiny pot, very classy. The best part is it comes with a brush of its own. And the brush is not crappy which is in most of the cases. I actually find it a really good brush to apply gel eyeliners. The MAC ones don’t come with a brush.

The quantity might feel really less for the price when you see it. But believe me you need very little amount each time. A pot lasts me for at least 3 months after everyday application. The texture is perfect. It glides like a dream literally. You won’t even feel anything. Just one swipe and whooo you have got it on!!!

The eyeliner is Matt in finish. It claims for 24 hour stay but I have oily lids and it tends to wear of in 5-6 hours. If I have built up the product or used a premier beneath then it lasts longer. I have a tendency to rub my eyes every now and then and this liner is pretty smudge proof. Unless you are trying to pop your eyes out this will not give you raccoon eyes.

All in all, I love this liner. Though I wished it was blacker and did not fade on my oily lids. But I won’t stop buying this for sure.
