The foundation is available in a number of shades like Porcelain, Ivory, Light Honey, Natural Beige, Sand, Sun Beige etc.

Foundation is a staple makeup that is a very necessary part of our makeup regime. So, finding a perfect foundation for our skin tone and which matches our skin type is also very important. I got this one recently, and it looked a little darker than my actual complexion, but when blended nicely with a kabuki brush it gave a perfect, even toned finish! Directions for use: Apply it either using your fingers or a foundation brush over entire face and neck, blending evenly. Also, dont spread over entire face at one time, rather than cover one area at a time because it tends to get dry quickly.

My Experience with Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid Foundation

Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid Foundation comes in an attractive glass bottle packaging with a pump dispenser. So, its quite heavy and I am not sure if its travel friendly. It will add much weight to your luggage. The dispenser pumps out just the perfect amount of product required. The pump is attached on the bottle, that is you cant remove the lid and use the entire product when it is about to end, which I think is a con.

Coming to its texture and color, Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid Foundation’s texture is quite runny and very creamy, which helps in blending. Also, it dries a little fast, so I prefer not to apply on my entire face in one go, rather cover small areas at a time and keep on blending. As a result I get no dry patches on my face. But sometimes it does make my dry patches more dry, so I need to moisturize my face well before applying this one. It comes in 6 shades which provides lots of options to choose from.

Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid Foundation provides sheer to medium coverage, best for someone who needs foundation for daily use. Apart from that it comes with SPF24 and PA++. I personally like products with SPF as you can skip sunscreen which is a good point. It stays up to 4-5 hours.

And Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid Foundation doesn’t controls oil much, face gets oily after a while. So, you need to set it up with a setting powder. Also, it does get oxidize and turns a little dark by the end of the day. So choose your shade wisely.

Overall, Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid Foundation is a little costly but a good foundation! It comes with wide range of shade and providing sheer to medium coverage. Perfect for daily use.
