Maybelline Dream Matte Powder Review – Hi friends!! Today, my post is about Maybelline Dream Matte Powder. It is monsoon and liquid foundations are very difficult to carry and feel uncomfortable. In this season, I prefer, powder compacts or Soufflés only since they do not feel heavy on skin.

Maybelline is a loved brand; I had not bought a product from this brand since a long time. My last buy was Collosal Kajal. So, I picked up this cute compact for it’s usefulness. Read on, to know more….

Colour of the product: The powder comes in about 4 shades. The colour that blended the best with my skin is Beige. Please choose as per your skin tone.

Texture of the product: It has a soft and fine texture. It feels light on skin. It does not give me that layered feel, you get with liquid foundations.

Smell of the product: Very mild fragrance that goes off fast (within minutes)

Feel about Maybelline Dream Matte Powder

This powder blends in very well with my skin tone. You can see this in the pictures. Yes, it does give that dreamy matte finish that it claims 🙂 My complexion looks even and uniform with this compact. It helps me control the oiliness of my T. zone, since I have a combination skin. The matte finish stays on me for 3 hours or so. After that, I need a touch up. The puff provided with the compact helps in making the application of the powder really hassle free. You can also use a makeup brush for putting the compact. The sponge is washable. This compact does not feel cakey on my skin. It feels very light and comfortable. I have not experienced any side effects or breakouts with it.

The compact comes in a light coffee colored packaging with a transparent top. There is a separate compartment for the puff. It also has an inbuilt mirror. The packing is quite travel friendly.
