Makeup and Outfit Idea for Brother’s Reception Party – Hello all 🙂 Here I have come up with Makeup and Outfit Idea for Brother’s Reception Party. I hope you have liked my previous post on Makeup and Outfit Idea for Brother’s Wedding. Now it’s time to get ready for reception. Reception is a ritual that follows wedding and is celebrated with meal, music and dancing. And when it’s a party, looking good becomes mandatory, especially for someone like Groom’s sister. In such parties, we meet the people we already know and also get to know new people. The way we dress and carry ourselves in such celebrations, says a lot about us. Self confidence comes when you know that you are looking perfect with right makeup and dazzling ensemble. So without any more delay let’s get started with Makeup and Outfit Idea for Brother’s Reception Party.

If you remember, I worn my red colored bridal lehnga for my brother’s wedding. So I decided to wear something different for the reception and chose this Anarkali suit. As you can see, this Anarkali suit is quite different from the traditional ones. It is a floor length Anarkali with polo neck which is quite unique. The sky blue color of the dress is also very pretty. It is a long sleeved Anarkali and you can see beautiful embroideries on the chest, sleeve and lower part of the dress. Overall, the Anarkali Suit has a unique look which attracted me a lot.
Now coming to my makeup, here too I kept my makeup pretty subtle to balance my look in this gorgeous Anarkali Suit. For my face, I went with the basic foundation and concealer routine. I just applied a bit of highlighter to get that luminous glowing skin, which I think looks pretty glamorous in occasions like these. For my eye makeup, I chose to apply eye shadow that matches with my dress. Apart from that, it is the regular eyeliner, kajal and mascara routine. Since I have highlighted my eyes a bit here, so naturally lip makeup has to be neutral. Hence, I went with this neutral pink lipstick and a bit of gloss. Oh yes, I opt for a bindi this time 🙂
Next up my hair. During the wedding, I kept my hair open with some curls in the end. No more curls this time. Here I have done a high pony with a slight puff in the crown part. This is such an easy to do hairstyle, yet gives you a stylish look.
As you can see, I have not worn any jewellery this time apart from earrings. As I said earlier, my Anarkali suit has polo neck with beautiful heavy embroidery, so there was no need to wear any neck piece. And it has long sleeve too, so instead of heavy bangles, I chose to wear a sleek bracelet and rings. And i completed my entire look with a golden clutch and high heel (not too high, though) shoes. That’s it, pretty much 🙂
So girls, what do you think of my Makeup and Outfit Idea for Brother’s Reception Party? I can’t wait to hear your feedbacks 🙂
