So the first recipe will need these ingredients : reetha powder, licorice powder, honey and coconut oil. In an airtight container, take 1 tbsp each of reetha powder and licorice powder. Add few drops of honey and enough coconut oil to make it a paste. There we have our skin whitening face wash ready for use. You can store this for upto 3 days and then make it once again.
Licorice or mulethi powder is best known for its skin lightening properties. Also it prevents acne, pimples and make skin brighter, clearer and hydrated. Reetha suits all skin types. It deeply cleanses the skin without making it dry. Reetha is useful to get rid of pimples, blackheads and freckles. Coconut oil is another excellent skin cleanser and along with that, it moisturizes the skin and gets rid of unwanted spots and marks. Here you will need the following ingredients – red lentil powder, red sandalwood powder, wheat flour, wild turmeric or kasturi haldi. In a bowl, take 2 tbsp of red lentil powder, 2 tbsp of red sandalwood powder, 1 tbsp of wheat flour, a pinch of turmeric. Mix everything and add milk if you have dry skin or rose water for oily skin. Apply it on the face, leave for couple of minutes and then wash off. Use this everyday for best result.

To make this skin whitening face wash, you will need aloe vera gel, white sandalwood powder, mint water (boil a handful of mint leaves in water and then strain the water, let it come to room temperature before using), baking soda and baby shampoo (for foaming). In an empty bottle, take 2 tsp aloe vera gel, 1 tsp white sandalwood powder, 1 cup mint water and half tsp of baking soda and 1 tsp of baby shampoo. Close the lid and shake well to prepare the face wash. Use it everyday to wash your face.
