L’Oreal Paris Hydrafresh Aqua Balm Review

Hello dear readers!! The summer season is literally at its cruelest in Delhi with the sun radiating heat. It is a task in itself to step out of home and head towards work. Thank god to the Delhi metro that gives some sort of relief from the scorching sun. I mention so much of the heat because that is what the product I am going to review is related to. Today’s post is about L’Oreal Paris Hydrafresh Aqua Balm Review. The word ‘aqua’ itself means water which signifies that the product is water based thus very apt for use in summers. The word ‘balm’ signifies that is going to give some soothing effect of your skin. This lotion/ balm is especially formulated for those who have dry and normal skin type. However, even those with a combination skin can give it a try without any worries.

L'Oreal Paris Hydrafresh Aqua Balm Review

To give you a short and crisp intro, I would call this an ideal summer face balm that feels cool on skin, is light textured yet hydrating. With L’Oreal, reliability is never an issue. I have almost used up half of this product and I am surely going to buy another tub real soon for the rest of the summer months. Being a product from a standard skincare brand, it is a little heavy on pocket but worthy of the expenditure. My experience with L’Oreal Paris Hydrafresh Aqua Balm

The packaging of L’Oreal Paris Hydrafresh Aqua Balm is in form of an elegant looking glass tub. It has a screw type cap made up of plastic. There is a lid to prevent spillage. The texture of cream is rich and silky but still very light weight like a soothing balm.

My experience with L’Oreal Paris Hydrafresh Aqua Balm has been a good one even though, it is not specifically meant for my skin type. It mentions itself to be an ideal product for normal to dry skin. My skin type is combination but as a practice, I use oil free lotions during day time to keep my T zone oil free and a little more hydrating and rich texture creams at night since from what I have read, skin needs more moisture at night.

L’Oreal Paris Hydrafresh Aqua Balm spreads easily into skin and gets absorbed easily within seconds of application. It is non greasy and does not make me sweat too much. I am very often in A/C environment as it is, most of the evenings. The cream has a soothing smell. It did not break me out and keeps skin feeling supple and plump.

Overall, I like this L’Oreal Paris Hydrafresh Aqua Balm. It is ideal for summer and keeps my skin hydrated and fresh for at least 5 to 6 hours post application. I recommend it to anybody with dry to normal skin.

Good about L’Oreal Paris Hydrafresh Aqua Balm

  • Very attractive looking packaging that I am definitely going to reuse to store some homemade face pack
  • Good quality product from L’Oreal Paris labs
  • Contains grape polyphenols which is a potent antioxidant
  • French spa water is full of antioxidants that revert the damage done to skin by environmental exposure
  • Double H A helps in retaining moisture
  • It keeps my skin hydrated and fresh for at least 5 to 6 hours post application.

Bad about L’Oreal Paris Hydrafresh Aqua Balm

  • It is costly as compared to most skin creams but then it is L’Oreal
  • Quantity provided is less for 500 plus bucks
