My Experience with L’Oreal Gentle Lip & Eye Makeup Remover

The makeup remover comes in a transparent bottle with a white cap. L’Oreal Gentle Lip & Eye Makeup Remover has a wide mouth with a stopper attached to control the amount of product. It is dual phase remover with two layers, one layer of oil which is of blue color and another layer of its water solution which is clear. The remover has to be mixed well every time before use.

L’Oreal Gentle Lip & Eye Makeup Remover has a very thin runny consistency just like water and is totally fragrance free. I need to take a little amount on a cotton pad each time and it removes almost all my eye and lip makeup in one go. Out of all the removers I have tried so far I have to say this one is very effective and takes least efforts in removing all the makeup easily.

L’Oreal Gentle Lip & Eye Makeup Remover removes my kajal, colored shimmery eyeliners, eye shadows and any other cream products, mascara, long lasting lipsticks, stains, almost everything. L’Oreal Gentle Lip & Eye Makeup Remover does a decent job at removing waterproof mascara also and does not sting or dry out my skin. But the formula is certainly oil based and leaves a very oily layer behind making my skin look dull and following with a good foaming face wash to remover that residue is a must. But when used it the right way followed by a good face wash it has not irritated my skin or caused any acne. I would say it is very effective but not the great choice for very oil skin and the hot weather due to the oily layer it leaves behind.

Overall, L’Oreal Gentle Lip & Eye Makeup Remover is good makeup remover for eyes and lips, which removes all the makeup easily without rubbing delicate eye area. Although it might not be the best option for highly acne prone and oily skin as it leaves behind oily layer.
