Limeroad style Icon of The Day – Kiran Raj Singh.. how good does it sound!! By now, almost all of you know that I am a makeup addict girl. I love experimenting with different makeup look. But what about style icon? Well, I don’t consider myself as a fashionista. I do not always follow the latest fashion trends. However, I do have my own fashion mantra. It may not always match the runway look, for me style should be easy breathy. I am personally a relaxed kind of person. And I believe that your fashion should reflect your character, it should be very individual. Therefore, I dress myself not to impress others, but for comfort and style.

Apart from a beauty blogger, I am a wife and a busy mommy. I don’t always get chance to go for shopping frequently and buy the latest fashionable clothes for myself. For me, its more like breezy shopping sessions. Naturally, I can’t spend hours at shopping mall and buy myself outfits, then find matching shoes, bags, accessories etc all at once. It is either garment shopping or accessories shopping. If its accessories shopping, then I try to choose shoes or bag that would perfectly complement the outfits that I bought during the last time I shopped. I don’t prefer too much accessories, because I feel that would unnecessarily burden my overall look. Let me give you a glimpse of my fashion mantra.

These pictures were taken during early winter, when I was at Gurgaon. I am wearing a maxi skirt here which I paired with a half sweater. Then as you can see, I am wearing a blazer over that. It has given a stylish western touch to the outfit.

Lets talk about the accessories now. I am wearing a chunky neckpiece here. Coming to the shoes, Here I am wearing boots. I completed my look with this beautiful and classic Chanel bag. Easy, breezy, comfortable, yet stylish – this is what exactly my fashion mantra is.

Recently, India’s popular online shopping site Limeroad.com launched a campaign known as ‘LimeRoad Main Apni Favourite Hoon’. Limeroad noticed my pics posted on social media and luckily, they liked them 🙂 And yes, they declared me as ‘Limeroad Style Icon of The Day’. Isn’t it just great? I never considered myself as a fashion icon and always thought that I need to work on my individual fashion statement. But Limeroad’s recognition came as a pleasant surprise and yes, definitely it has boosted my confidence too. Thank you Limeroad, I am over the moon 🙂
