Hi beauties, Happy monsoons. I am with Lakme Sun Expert UV Lotion SPF 50 PA+++ Review. I hope the football fever has caught you all up. Today I will review a product which is absolutely necessary in our day today life in all season. I always believed sunscreens are must only in summers. After joining BHB, I realized that sunscreen is must in every season. Even on cloudy days it is must to wear sunscreen as sun’s rays are harsh during this time.. After secondary research, through internet what I found is Sun protection factor SPF refers to the ability of a sunscreen to block ultraviolet B (UVB) rays, which cause sunburns, but not UVA rays, which are more closely linked to deeper skin damage. Both UVA and UVB contribute to the risk of skin cancer.A SPF15 sunscreen screens 93% of the sun’s UVB rays; SPF 30 protects against 97%; and SPF 50, 98%. Sunscreens with higher SPF ratings block slightly more UVB rays, but none offers 100% protection.

This is ideally my first sunscreen, though a lot of my bb creams, day creams contain SPF by default. I wanted to wear sunscreen lotion for my recent trip to Kashid beach as I did not want to get tanned. So, I opted for SPF 50 from Lakme. Lakme is a brand I can trust on since it is one of the oldest and affordable brand in India and has never let me down. So, let us look at the detailed review of Lakme Sun Expert UV Lotion

My experience with Lakme Sun Expert UV Lotion SPF 50 PA+++
Let us see about the packaging. It’s a small cute yellow color tube with a nozzle. The cap is screw type and not flip type. Since the bottle is not transparent, the amount of quantity left inside can not be judged. Lakme Sun Expert UV Lotion SPF 50 PA+++ tube is so travel friendly that it can fit in handbag, wallet and even in jeans pocket. I carried it in my jeans when I went to the beach.
Lakme Sun Expert UV Lotion SPF 50 PA+++ is light in texture and medium thick in consistency. It gets easily absorbed and blended into the skin. Lakme Sun Expert UV Lotion SPF 50 PA+++ can be used as a make up base too. Once applied just set it with compact powder. Best part is it does not leave any white cast behind nor does it make my skin oily. Lakme Sun Expert UV Lotion SPF 50 PA+++ keeps my skin moisturized for quite a long time. As I face sun’s rays only while going for work, I apply Lakme Sun Expert UV Lotion SPF 50 PA+++ only once a day. But, it is highly recommended to apply sunscreen after every two hours. I have dry skin and this tube is specially formulated for normal to dry skin. Lakme Sun Expert UV Lotion SPF 50 PA+++ is totally waterproof and sweat proof. I have used this for my Kashid beach trip and I did not get tanned a bit.
Another best thing is Lakme Sun Expert UV Lotion SPF 50 PA+++ does not give any false whitening claims like most other sunscreens in the market now a days. I have kept this for special occasions like picnics and beaches. For regular basis I am happy with my Ponds BB with SPF 30 claims.
Overall, I advice every pretty lady to have Lakme Sun Expert UV Lotion SPF 50 PA+++ sunscreen with SPF50 for those special occasions/picnics as it is very affordable, travel friendly, cute and highly effective against sun’s rays.
