My experience with Lakme Face Sheer Tropical Island

Packed in a simple pot with a sponge applicator on top, and the entire product enclosed in a cardboard container, the packaging of Lakme Face Sheer Tropical Island is simple, aesthetic and easy to cart. One has to be conscientious while opening the cap that encloses the powder else it may spill if not opened gently. On the whole, it is fine as far as packaging is concerned.

The powder is fine without any granules. Lakme Face Sheer Tropical Island has a bronze hue which when, smeared on one’s face (I’d suggest applying it only on one’s cheekbones) and blended well, imparts a comely sun-kissed tint. It looks winsome on Indian skin shades particularly on a little dusky tone. The staying power is praiseworthy. In my case, it stays well for about 2.5-3 hours. The duration may vary depending on the skin type as well as weather.

A major chink in its armour is that Lakme Face Sheer Tropical Island comes packed with a number of chemicals, most of which have not been divulged. As a result, I would not suggest using it so often that you develop a hang of it. Use it once in a blue moon and then, go back to home remedies. The damage will be minimized. Another bugbear is that for those with dry/excessively dry skin, as the time elapses, your skin may feel dry and stretchy. However, on the whole, it is very much a viable product given its pros and cons.

In a nutshell, Lakme Face Sheer Tropical Island is worth buying provided one uses it occasionally and does not develop a hang of it since it is imbued with chemicals.
