Lakme is hit with its recently launched Absolute and 9 to 5 office make up range. Currently, Kareena Kapoor Khan is endorsing this range and she looks quite stunning in the commercial. Lakme is one of the oldest and most successful brand among the middle class ladies. I have seen my mum using Lakme lipsticks for years and still is aa loyal customer. Absolute range is among my favorite as it is little on a higher pricey side but it delivers what it claims. This is my randomly purchased gloss on one of my weekend mall visit. Lakme Absolute Plump & Shine 6-Hour 3D Gloss has  17  shades as claimed by the website. They had started these glosses with just four shades when launched. My experience with Lakme Absolute Plump & Shine 6-Hour 3D Gloss Candy Shine

I chose this color as I found the color as beautiful pink and suited my skin tone. I am wheatish in color. I am sure this is a shade which would suit almost everyone. The texture of Lakme Absolute Plump & Shine 6-Hour 3D Gloss Candy Shine is little thick and little sticky and gives moisturization effect once applied. It has fine pinkish self shimmers which enhances the color on the lips. The gloss is not scented. The shade is very much pigmented. But, in order to get the desired color, I need atleast two swipes. If I need to wear it alone, I prefer minimum of three swipes while if I use it on any lip color, one swipe is enough. I guess this is because a very little quantity is taken at a time by the applicator. The best part is Lakme Absolute Plump & Shine 6-Hour 3D Gloss Candy Shine does not settle in fine lines of lips. Once it fades, unlike most of the glosses, it does not leave only shimmers behind.

The packaging is quite sleek and attractive. Lakme Absolute Plump & Shine 6-Hour 3D Gloss Candy Shine comes in a cylindrical transparent glass tube with a long sponge tip applicator. The cap of the gloss is metallic grey in color which is a USP of Lakme Absolute range. The cap is screw type fitting to avoid spillage. Lakme Absolute Plump & Shine 6-Hour 3D Gloss Candy Shine is light weight which makes it easy to carry around in hand bag or even in jeans pocket. I usually prefer keeping in my jeans pocket.

Lakme Absolute Plump & Shine 6-Hour 3D Gloss Candy Shine claims to stay on lips for six hours but it does stay on my lips for atleast for four hours, even after having snacks in between. One tube should last around a half year if not used daily, because we tend to have many lip colors and lip glosses in our make up kitty. If used daily, I feel it should last for at least 3 months. It can be wiped off easily using a make up remover. One last and most important thing to remember is please use this lip color on exfoliated lips to get a better color pay off.
