Lakme Absolute Blur Perfect Primer Review – I normally do not use primer for my daily makeup, but always keep a tube handy for special occasions. I bought Lakme Absolute Blur Perfect Primer recently from Nykaa while the Rakhi Sale was going on. This primer was launched by the brand last year and it is the first ever primer from Lakme. I actually have bought quite a few Lakme products recently, including couple of shades from the newly launched Lakme lip crayons as well as this primer. Lakme Absolute Blur Perfect Primer also promises to deliver a smooth matte finish while being extremely lightweight on the skin. It comes with “silky blur formula” primes and brightens the skin instantly creating a flawless base for makeup. Furthermore, Lakme Absolute Blur Perfect Primer also claims to soften the blemishes and the pores.

Primer is an essential for professional and flawless looking makeup. We know that foundations and concealer form our base and primer. It actually creates the base for foundation. It delivers shine-free, smooth and also long lasting makeup. Lakme Absolute Blur Perfect Primer helps to create the perfect canvas for makeup or you can also wear it alone over the moisturizer for smooth and radiant face. I normally prefer colorless primers, however this Lakme one is tinted. It claims to hide skin imperfections and also gives an even-toned, radiant face. Direction for use

Apply small dots of the Primer over your face. Blend it well with your fingertips or a sponge in an upward motion. Start with the centre of the face and work your way upwards and outwards to get the perfect coverage.
Wait for a few minutes for the Primer to set before applying foundation.

Lakme Absolute Blur Perfect Primer is housed in a glossy black tube with a shiny silver screw cap. The tube is lightweight yet sturdy and looks pretty attractive as well. The screw cap shuts tightly and also ensures there is no spillage of the product. The tube comes in a black colored outer cardboard box which bears all the information about the primer. Overall, I really like the packaging. Its lightweight and easy to carry while travelling.

As I already mentioned, it is a tinted primer. Lakme Absolute Blur Perfect Primer bears a wonderful floral fragrance. I love the fragrance, but it doesn’t stay long. It is a light pink colored primer, but once you blend it out, the color doesn’t show up on the skin. The primer is very soft and creamy, it almost feels like a lightweight moisturizer.

My experience with Lakme Absolute Blur Perfect Primer

I have been testing out the primer since past one month. Only a pea sized amount is needed for the face. Due to the presence of silicones, it glides like a dream on the skin. The primer feels very lightweight on the skin. Skin doesn’t become oily or greasy at all. Lakme Absolute Blur Perfect Primer sets into a velvet matte finish which feels very comfortable. It gives the perfect shine-free, smooth, matte look to the face that we all desire for.

I really like this primer. It makes the skin baby soft and smooth. Lakme Absolute Blur Perfect Primer mattifies the skin and also blurs out the pores and blemishes nicely. It also brightens up the face. My foundation, BB cream and other makeup products glide smoothly when I have this primer on. My makeup looks perfect and naturally flawless. Though this primer is light pink in color, it gets blended nicely with the complexion and it also doesn’t mess up with the color of other makeup products.

The primer helps my makeup stay fresh for a long time. Though I have been using it on regular basis, but it hasn’t broken me out at all. However, the only con that I noticed about this primer is that it doesn’t hydrate the skin well. So, for those with dry skin like mine, it’s better to apply the primer over a moisturizer. Otherwise, the skin might feel dry after few hours. Lakme Absolute Blur Perfect Primer is available in one shade which suits all skin tone.

Overall, Lakme Absolute Blur Perfect Primer is one of the best primers available in the market. It has soft, creamy texture that blends nicely and sets into soft-matte finish. This primer helps the other makeup products to glide smoothly and also increases the staying power of my makeup. A great primer for normal to oily skin, dry skin can also use it with a good moisturizer underneath.
