This was one of my first lip colors which I ever got. Out of so many shades, after so much hassle I got myself this shade. Lakme 9 to is a range of shade that stays on your lips all day long, it conditions you lips with a touch of matte. It is a pretty peach type shade with golden glitter particles in it. Directions for use : Stretch lips and start from center, and moving to the corners. Make sure that lipstick is not out of the line of your lips.

Lakme Nine to Five brings you a range of 15 shades that sit on your lips all day long. Enriched with Vitamin E; it conditions your lips & softens them with wheat germ oil. So, perk those soft, smooth lips with a touch of matte. It claims to be high performance color fix formula, shades for office wear, soft and smooth texture, matte finish with Vitamin E , and wheat germ oil.
My experience with Lakme 9 to 5 Lip Color Blush Work
Lakme 9 to 5 Lip Color Blush Work comes in a beautiful metal cylindrical packing. The shade is mentioned on the bullet itself, which makes identification easy. The packaging makes this lipstick really attractive! But as you know everything that glitters isn’t gold! Also, the lipstick has no weird smell, just a little citrusy scent which doesn’t bother.
Moving on to the shade, the color of Lakme 9 to 5 Lip Color Blush Work is really good. It is of coral shade which is not exactly pink with some glitter particles. The only reason I bought this lipstick was because of its shade. The lipstick applies smoothly but dries to matte and making lips looking patchy and really dry. Pigmentation is good, but to get nice color you need to layer it which will make it looking cakey instead which is really gross! So, I end up removing the lip color most of the times.
The staying power of the lipstick is good. Not really 9 to 5, but stays upto 3-4 hours without meals. Also, it settles into the fine lines, making it look more bad. Do I need to tell more cons about it now?
But now, since I have got this pretty shade I use it as a blush for some occasions, it blends pretty easily giving a matte finish, and I don’t mind a little gold glitter on my cheeks. But if you have dry lips, don’t ever go for this one!
Overall, it is wastage of money according to me! No need to invest in it just for color and packaging! Go for other better lip color available in the market in same range.
