It’s the famous Lakme 9 to 5 lipstick Vermillion Fired review. Lakme introduced this range of makeup especially for office goers for whom long wearing makeup at pocket friendly price was a dream. This range is also great for matte make up lovers and I am no exception. This is the reason I picked up one more shade from this range and here goes its detailed review.
Lakme 9 to 5 lipshtick Vermilion Fired is a bright orange shade which is definitely not a true office wear. I picked this up because I wanted a vibrant lip shade in matte texture. Unlike other Lakme lipsticks this one comes carefully packed in cardboard cover giving the feel of owing a luxury product. Even the metal case packing of the lipstick makes it resemble a precious case. It is very lightweight and the quantity provided is justified for the price.

My experience with Lakme 9 to 5 lipstick Vermilion Fired
While we all know neon is the color of the season, walking by the market we get to spot maximum collection in vibrant neon shades. So is the shade vermilion Fired as its name suggests is totally fired up hot orange shade. Lakme 9 to 5 Lipstick Vermilion Fired is bright and very tempting, the perfect thing for neon lovers. Lakme 9 to 5 Lipstick Vermilion Fired is the perfect neon orange lipstick. Although not a true office wear yet it is perfect for day outing from kitties to date and so on. The shade is like less is more, being a bold shade it demands the other facial features to be kept at minimum.
The pigmentation is great when swatched on arm but on lips it gets patchy. Lakme 9 to 5 Lipstick Vermilion Fired is very difficult or needs multiple swipes for proper coverage. The results are worse on unexfoliated lips. In fact the texture is creamy but it makes lips so slippery that the shade gets displaced very easily. Hardly does it show up on lips for an hour or so without meals in between. After disappearing Lakme 9 to 5 Lipstick Vermilion Fired does not stain the lips at all but while fading away it gets accentuates at places.
Overall Lakme 9 to 5 lipstick Vermilion Fired gets a thumb up solely for the true fiery neon shade but sadly it’s a total skip for the pigmentation and staying power it has. At this price or even at lower prices other companies have better lipsticks to offer.
