My experience with Juicy Chemistry Sweet Orange and Mocha Hydrating Face and Body Mask

Packed in an eye-pleasing plastic tub with a plastic cap on top and an aluminium foil inset guarding the contents of the product, the packaging of Juicy Chemistry Sweet Orange and Mocha Hydrating Face and Body Mask is hygienic to use (courtesy the complementary wee spoon given by Juicy Chemistry), spillage-free and travel-friendly. The only issue I have is with the plastic cap which is vulnerable to cracking. That’s the only input from me 🙂 By the way, the complementary wee spoon and scrub earns brownie points 😉

The mask has a grainy texture (particles are gentle) and when combined with a few drops of raw milk (because it has lactic acid therefore, helps in lightening blemishes), a slightly grainy paste is formed. It takes a little care during application on your face and dries completely within 15 minutes. There is no burning/tingling sensation. It is very gentle and soothing. In fact, one feels as if a juicy, succulent and aromatic blend of oranges and mangoes is being smeared on ones skin. In one word- Heavenly 😉

Once dry, I drench my hands in water and scrub my skin gently for 2-3 minutes because scrubbing removes dead skin layers. After washing off my face with cold water, the burst of energy and freshness I get will give Ranveer Singh a run for his money 😛 I am serious. You get charged up instantly after using it. Not only does your face look radiant (thanks to orange extracts) but also feels soft, smooth and even. The evenness in my complexion takes away the cake for me. Even skin tone, to me is healthy.

My face doesn’t feel stretchy after washing the mask off. In fact, it feels slightly moisturised. For dry and excessively dry skin, it is surely a value for money product. Normal skin can also opt for it. Since it has oils and butters in its composition, I won’t recommend it to oily/excessively oily skin.
