Hello everyone 🙂 Today, I will be sharing Joy Pure Aloe All Purpose Aloe Vera Cream Review. There is no dearth of skin creams available in the market, in fact I would say markets are flooded with creams. Variety is the spice, so goes a famed adage but variety also ends up leaving us confounded, doesn’t it? Recently I got my hands on Joy Pure Aloe All Purpose Aloe Vera Cream. Aloe vera (known as Ghritkumari/Kumari in Hindi) needs no elaboration when it comes to skin care. Aloe vera is a cactus plant that belongs to the Liliaceae family. It grows in dry climates such as those found in parts of Africa and India. It has been used medicinally for centuries. In fact, ancient Egyptians called it the “plant of immortality.”

Moreover, it is also said to be useful in treating wounds and burns, minor skin infections, cysts, diabetes, and elevated blood lipids in humans, and shows some promise in treating more serious and persistent conditions such as eczema, genital herpes, dandruff, psoriasis, skin ulcers and so on and so forth. So, is there any way I would desist myself from treating my skin to its bountifulness? Definitely, no. In line with that thought, I zeroed in on Joy Pure Aloe All Purpose Aloe Vera Cream. Let us read the Joy Pure Aloe All Purpose Aloe Vera Cream Review below and see how it fared for me.

What Joy Pure Aloe All Purpose Aloe Vera Cream claims
It re-energizes ageing skin cells thereby minimizing fine lines. The Alpha-Hydroxy Fruit Acids system incorporated in the formula increases the skin’s elasticity and suppleness. Instantly skin looks healthier, more radiant and dramatically revitalized.
My experience with Joy Pure Aloe All Purpose Aloe Vera Cream
Packed in a plastic tub/pot with a simple cap on top that needs to be rotated to let it open, the packaging of Joy Pure Aloe All Purpose Aloe Vera Cream is underwhelming. Every time, you intend to use it, you will have to dip your fingers in the tub/pot which entails the risk of contamination of the product. The cap is somewhat loose and hence, not leakage-free. That makes it unsuitable for carrying while commuting. On the whole, it is disappointing as far as packaging is concerned.
The texture of Joy Pure Aloe All Purpose Aloe Vera Cream is somewhat waxy (it might change because mine was purchased during winters so the weather may have had an effect on the consistency). In fact, so waxy “then” that at a point I wondered if I was daubing a candle’s wax on my skin. That, to me, is highly exasperating. So, no moisturisation transpires. Then, there is its awful smell which makes me feel as if I have slathered a mosquito repellent on my skin. There is nothing noteworthy done by this cream. No softness. No radiance. No moisturisation. Just a feeling of being smeared with candle wax that smells like a mosquito repellent! Did I hear you say debacle?
In one word, Joy Pure Aloe All Purpose Aloe Vera Cream is pathetic. It feels like I am smearing the wax of a candle on my skin! Miss it for your own good.

Good about Joy Pure Aloe All Purpose Aloe Vera Cream
- Budget-friendly
- Readily available
Bad about Joy Pure Aloe All Purpose Aloe Vera Cream
- The fragrance (if it can be called so) which to me, resembles that of a mosquito repellent.
- The composition. It has silicones (dimethicone), mineral oil, parabens (methylparaben), coal tar dyes (Cl 19140, Cl 42090), EDTA (temporary skin lightening agent) and propylene glycol. All these should NOT be present in products meant for skin care. However, many chemicals are not banned in India which is why, we see products laced with them. Lack of awareness is another issue.
- Tub packaging makes it unhygienic to use. It entails the risk of contamination for every time you intend to use it, you have to put in your fingers.
- Does not do anything which’ll make you go gaga over it.
