This in turn, prevents the over-production of sebum and controls the oiliness of the skin.
  • Honey has powerful anti bacterial and anti septic properties. It works effectively to get rid of the ugly acne and pimples and give us a healthy, beautiful skin.
  • Also, honey can soak up the excess moisture from the clogged pores and dehydrate the acne causing bacteria, as well as destroy the same by releasing hydrogen peroxide.
  • Furthermore, honey can balance the pH level of the skin, which is essential if you want a healthy, flawless skin.
  • It has soothing, moisturizing properties. Honey is known as the best natural moisturizer. It keeps skin soft and supple without imparting any oiliness.
  • Honey has anti oxidant benefits. It can protect our skin from the harmful effects of free radicals. Also honey is full of nutrients, which nourishes the skin from within and keeps the skin healthy.

  1. I have oily skin and I like using honey on my face. It deep nourishes thereby making my face secrete less sebum and look greasy.

  2. Please recommend a trustworthy brand of honey. Most honey on the market is just syrup, I can’t find a good one. 🙁
